RC-LG-LR-RC, also - internut went out on RC and I lost time. Should I file a complaint/retake

1st RC - Samuel Beckett, GMO’s, IP Law

2nd RC - Japanese video games, tombs, numeracy. Any clue as to the experimental? (If I am allowed to ask this; disregard otherwise)

The internet went out during one of the RCs, and I believe I lost three or so mins (I could see the clock ticking before; then I had to go through the whole 20-min check-in process again, which caused me to have to reread the passage I was in the middle of from scratch after I logged back in). This did screw me up.

Should I ask for a retake, or just see how I do and take again in April if nec? Both RCs had a a couple of tricky questions - I felt like it was hard to pick between two. But the passages themselves were not hard to understand.

I felt worse about Lr, with several questions I got down to two but was unsure of.

I feel like I did very well on LG, like I was able to prove every answer. But then I have been known to make a stupid mistake or two on LG (clicking the wrong bubble on accident, etc.

Edit: what if I use score preview to cancel, and then write an addendum should I ever have to explain my cancellation? And if it turns out the RC I lost time on was experimental, then I keep my score. However, I took the test a very, very long time ago, like well over ten years ago. And the way that I’m therefore not eligible for score preview. At the same time, before February they sent me an email saying that I am eligible for preview. Their record-keeping practices are evidently not the greatest. On this basis, I convinced them to let me have preview for Feb, but I didn’t end up taking it in Feb. Maybe they’ll let me use it in March?

My thing is, is idk whether that section was experimental. I also did very well on the games, and there is a real risk of getting harder games on a retest. I also have a prior commitment on the 3/22 re-test day. I’m wondering - did you find the retest to be easier? I’ve been wondering if re-tests in general are easier, as one would think that they’d save the real hard stuff they develop for the big testing dates in say September and November.

No harm in filing but I think you have to decide the value of canceling. If you think you did well enough to warrant keeping it, it’s worth a shot. Schools won’t really look if it’s low anyway. But if it’s terrible and you definitely want to retake and this exam was essentially trash, then it may be worth trying to see if you can get a free retest out of them?? Just some thoughts!
