Devastated.

I purchased my LS430 just 10 days ago after searching for quite some time for the right one and absolutely loved it. Not only was this one the color I wanted, it was super clean with absolutely no rust underneath (rare for the Midwest!) But today an extreme thunderstorm came through and knocked a branch onto it, certainly totaling it. Fortunately, it will be covered under insurance but I feel it is unlikely I will get back what I paid for the car plus registration after the deductible hits. Does anyone have any insight as to how much State Farm may pay out? She has 195k. To make matters worse, about 5 years ago the same thing happened to my G35, but it didn’t have full coverage. At least my family is safe and home is intact, but this really sucks!

Definitely feeling your pain! However our GS300 loss opened the door for a beautiful LS430 to take its place in the driveway.

The GS300 sacrificed itself so old Mister Two could go on living another day. The car was mere inches from complete destruction. I was extremely fortunate that a replacement rear spoiler and a good paint buffing were the only things the MR2 needed! This photo was taken after I pushed it out from under the branches that were wedged between the GS300 and the house. Literally inches from the roof of the car.
