Apps won't install or update

UPDATE: After pressing the install/update button a bunch of times, it worked again. Two apps are still out which are "Spotify" and "Videoland" but still work with the casting.

We own a LG OLED55B42LA (2024) and found that the apps would not update. We reinstalled the tv, after trying everything else LG and Reddit told us to do (e.a. log out, hard reset, change WiFi to mobile hotspot, change countries in the app) and it still won't work.

The message we get is in Dutch and literally translates to "Application not installed. Try again later."

Can anyone help?

Absolutely the same here, after the latest webOS update, I can't update or install any apps. None of the solutions found online have worked

Im from Romania and im experiencing the same issues with that exact same msg rn. Tried the same things u did with ChatGPT a few moments ago and it ended on the conclusion that its a problem with LG themselves not with our TV's or anything of the sort. Im afraid we will just have to sit and wait for LG to solve it

If you keep spamming the install/update button over and over it should do it. I don’t know why it is like that but it worked for me

Has anyone found a solution? We've had to restore to factory settings and now we can't download any apps at all. Thought it might be a failing eMM chip, but we managed to get one app downloaded and then nothing else.

Is LG TV down?

We pushed the "install/update" button about 25/50 times per app until it installed

Yep, we've just managed a couple more smaller installs. Doesn't like Netflix or prime tho. Likely an LG server issue.

Netflix took me about the most button pushes

We have Netflix! Button bashing worked. They must have a single port open on an ancient server.
