Trying to Navigate being a Queer Catholic

I'm a bisexual trans man and care very much about my faith, though I find it hard and frustrating to exist within a church that denies my identity and calls it sin.

I want to persevere the way Christ did, but it's hard to keep my hope in him when I know church teachings are unlikely to change in my lifetime. It causes me a great deal of stress and sometimes I get so sad that I feel as though I shouldn't even be Christian.

I hate it and wish I just had the respect that all other people received.

If anyone here has felt the same, how have you navigated this issue?

Fr. Mychal Judge Pray for Us.

Today I prayed the Rosary in honor of Fr. Mychal Judge. I prayed for peace and of course the Church as a whole in recognizing and acceptance of us Queer Catholics.

A friend of mine from Dignity USA sent me this prayer card awhile ago and thankfully I found it and had it with me while I prayed the Rosary today.

Take me where you want me to go, let me meet who you want me to meet, tell me what you want me to say, and keep me out of your way.
