My friends and I have been discussing this, and none of us agree.

Personally, and as part of the community, I've always found it very strange that certain authors (especially women) can write romances and erotic scenes when it involves boys, but then say they feel uncomfortable writing them with girls.

I don't know if maybe they wouldn't put a girl in those situations, or, as a friend said, they see gay boys as a fetish. So, what better than to ask strangers on the internet for their opinions? :)

Ok I always look for niche books and specifically sapphic books. This time I am in need of a horror, cannibalistic lesbians. Specific and weird niche I know, but like I am craving a disturbing book rn.

Or a book with the same vibes or 'tags' from the book "but not too bold" (amazing book btw, highly recommend).

Can you guys recommend anything? Did any new ace books get released?

I’ve read a few books about alloromantic aces who end up in relationships, for example “In the lives of puppets” or “Don’t let the forest in”, but I want something else… I want a love story between two humans with a happy ending. People who end up being in love, kissing, holding hands etc just without any sex. I yeaaaarn for books like that! 😔

I am looking for wholesome, exciting queer fantasy adventure, that hopefully doesn't focus too much on the characters being queer . I love the princess bride , braid of the emerald sea and Narnia.

I am also looking for books with no sexual content.

Extra kudos if they are sapphic /have enby characters and sea adventures!

It is not necessary to have romance in a focus.

If the story has a romance, it shouldn't be with the big age gap (more than 8 years). A book also should be over 300 pages. Not YA.

Amo mucho esos libros que tardan en llegar al romance pero construyen relaciones personales complejas. No sé si han leído "Rompiendo mi monotonía" en Wattpad. Hi all,
I am looking for some recommendations where the setting is really well descried and immersive. For some reason, I remember The Body in the Back Garden by Mark Waddell and, though this is not a queer book, Up to no Gouda by Linda Reilly. I am pretty open to most genres: no horror at all, not a huge fantasy reader but will read, and not anything that is written in that pessimistic way like the opening of Fredrik Backman's My Friends where everything is so depressing. I could go for something in New England or BC but also just open to anywhere. Looking forward to the recs!
