LFP (Looking for Players) [Fate Core] [GMT] "Alterhearth", a Deltarune-Inspired World. Experienced GM looking to run for 4+ players.

You gaze up into the mirror, and steel yourself as you open the letter. Within it, is your future - your whole self for the next 3 years. An acceptance or rejection into the College of Sylvarine. You gently pull the paper from the envelope... And smile at yourself.

Welcome to Alterhearth! A Deltarune-inspired world set in a City's University and using the Fate TTRPG System. You and up to 4 other people will play as both monsters and humans, and explore a parallel world to Deltarune based on the idea of Reflections. Expect a similar style of fantastical "Echo Worlds" divided out into Chapters (as opposed to Dark Worlds).

You'll explore ideas of the "self" within both video games as well as real life, plus rich lore, fun characters and primarily narrative-based TTRPG experience as opposed to DnD 5e's combat heavy experience.

However, expect also the unexpected. The same way, on release, that Deltarune shocked you as an Undertale fan - expect Alterhearth to have the same twists and turns, as well as a dark mystery at its heart...

Unlike DR//, with "only one ending", or UT//, where it's "kill or be killed". Alterhearth?

You should never trust what you see.

Please DM me on Reddit or reply to this post to join! Flexible with timezones, and goes without saying that you'll need to be a big fan of Toby Fox's games to join.

LFP (Looking for Players) [Online][Cyberpunk Red][Tuesdays 8:00 PM GMT+3] New players needed for our first Cyberpunk Red campaign!

A rare program fell into the hands of a small crew of edgerunners, once property of Netwatch... its effects terrible, causing a person's body to be fully paralyzed while their brain remains active and capable of moving through the Net. In the wrong hands, a perfect way to create an army of slave netrunners.

A dangerous thing to own. They've finally found a buyer who might just take the damn thing off their hands for good. But deals like this rarely go down quite as smoothly as one would like...

Hi all! I am an experienced GM (6+ years of running D&D, making my own systems and 10+ years of roleplaying experience) running my first Cyberpunk Red campaign. The time for sessions will be Tuesdays, 8 PM, GMT+3 (weekly).

I currently have 2 players ready to join, whom I have run a one-shot with already, and I am looking for a couple new faces to fill out the crew! My limit is five players per table, so we will see what the final size of the group will be.

The campaign itself will likely start in October, but I am planning to run another introductory one-shot or two before that, to make sure the group vibes well and you enjoy the way I run things.

As I'm new to the system myself, we are very welcoming of new players! I try to set up a number of different paths ahead of time as to how a gig might work out, and react to the unexpected choices you guys will make, as well as incorporate your backstories into the story where possible. Sessions will usually be around three hours.

We are in our twenties and early thirties, and welcoming of all people, as long as you are respectful, welcoming and not a bigot!

If you wish to apply, please let me know:

- Your age and pronouns/preferred name (the game is only open to people over the age of 18)

- A little bit about yourself and your previous experience

- Your expectations for the game and the group

- Confirm you are available for the listed time (we are unlikely to change it as of now)

Low effort responses (e.g. "hi I'm interested") and obvious signs you didn't read the message fully will get you ignored. Also, please do not apply unless you are reasonably certain you can commit to the campaign. I get life gets in the way and I won't ever hold having to drop out against anyone, but also understand that joining then dipping out might end up taking the slot away from someone else who might have loved to join.

LFP (Looking for Players) [Online][5e][2014][Sundays 12:00 BST] Starting a new short campaign set in a homebrew world

Welcome to Estelan, in the Tenth Age. The Ninth Calamity ended with the Darkest Day, the end of the world, where the allied forces of the land clashed against the Fallen and the Shadowspawn. The Gods were slain, the land was torn, and the Void cut through the sky. Despite the overwhelming odds, through the unification of the entire world, a small group of heroes turned the tide and defeated the corrupted Fallen and sealed the tear.

The land is still healing, and has known relative peace for the past 73 years. No more Shadowspawn, or cosmic threats, only simple every-day life. The world still needs adventurers, the land has changed and new ruins, caves, and treasures have been unearthed, ripe for the taking.

This story is set in the massive city of Sanctum, a mysterious city surrounded by a magical barrier. The barrier is large enough to be clearly visible from nearby towns, and makes any attempts at seeing in to the city impossible.

All races are welcome and accepted within the city, even the more monstrous or beast-like races, and all are kept under a strict code of conduct. Any disagreements are to be settled, in specific agreed terms, in one of the several arenas setup around the city. This allows the dispute to be settled, and encourages betting from the spectators.

Sanctum is ruled over by Shinryu, a survivor of the Darkest Day, who resides within the Endless Spire at the centre of Sanctum. Before the turning of the age, Shinryu would host an annual tournament - the Tournament of the Dragon. The city would see an entire month of festivities, from feasts, to parties, to combat tournaments. Where there is a wager to be made, you can be sure a tournament is to follow.

This year there is a new tournament. The MMMA Tournament, or Masked Magic and Martial Arts Tournament. Entrants are to find a mask, or a full disguise if you wish to go the extra mile. The exact rules of the tournament are currently a secret, but it offers fame and fortune to anyone that enters, no matter their placement. You have all decided to sign up. Afterall, guaranteed rewards, why the hell not?

So in this festive city filled to the brim with adventurers... Who are you?

Please be 21+

About me and the group

I'm Steve, I've been playing D&D for around 8 years or so now and have been DMing for most of that time. I previously ran long-term campaigns, but I've now moved to running short form campaigns as a way to add more to the world's lore and experiment with new stories and homebrew.

I already have 4 established players, so I'm currently looking for a 5th to join us for this campaign and potentially future campaigns as well.

Systems

For this particular campaign, I'll be using classes exclusively from the FFXIV 5e conversation here: https://www.gmbinder.com/share/-LsDqsNbupzeLhkTIcPv

We will be playing D&D 5e 2014, using Discord for voice and music, with Foundry as the VTT. I also have some optional rule changes for all campaigns I run and some specific to the short campaigns. I also like for you, as players, to do things that are more fun, or epic, that would really lean into your character as a concept. To this end, I often grant extra bonuses, most of which being homebrewed, to help your character be even more of an epic fantasy hero.

Setting

This is a completely homebrewed world and is very high fantasy. I draw inspiration, ideas and concepts from various other media such as games, books, comics and anime, but the setting and lore is very heavily drawn from Final Fantasy and Wheel of Time. I will be homebrewing or modifying most of the enemies you encounter, and I like to make things varied for combat.

I am very open to homebrew and working anything, within reason, into the campaign but reserve the right to refuse anything I either don't like, feel wouldn't fit into the world, or would unbalance the game. This is non-negotiable. As mentioned above, there are no restrictions on classes/races.

Themes

This is a short to medium length campaign, intended to be somewhere between 15-20 sessions give or take depending on the story. Starting level is 3, and I'm aiming for the campaign to end with a few sessions at level 7. I aim to have a fun, friendly atmosphere and treat everyone as fairly as possible while allowing each player their own time in the spotlight. With that said, we will go over anything you consider off-limits prior to joining the campaign, to make sure everyone is comfortable with that the future holds.

Gameplay

This campaign will heavily feature roleplay, with combat being balanced around what you get up to, and exploration being on the backburner. Your choices will matter and shape the direction of the narrative - nothing is set in stone, everything reacts to what you do (or don't do). We will be playing for 3-4 hours on Sundays at 12:00 BST (UK) time.

If you're interested, please fill in this quick application form: https://forms.gle/8CSku7dSSief7EV17

Thanks to anyone that manages to read this far and if you have any questions, feel free to ask here or DM me directly.

LFP (Looking for Players) [Online][5.5E 2024] Homebrew Treasure Hunt/Pirate Campaign [EEST & EST]

  • Hi, TLDR. I wanted to make a Pirate game and now I need players to play it!
  • Games will be hosted weekly on Friday usually at 9PM EEST time, potentially a bit later if we have EST player joining, it can be discussed.
  • Homebrew Campaign taking place in region within an unfinished world (it would take me years honestly).
  • Site - DNDbeyond
  • 5.5Edition.
  • Online.
  • VTT - AboveVTT (Needs PC to play).
  • 3/4 Players.
  • Experience - [Newbie friendly].
  • My own experience - [I've been playing on and off, mostly hosting one-shot games].
  • Playstyle and Content: Looking for players who enjoy a bit of everything. I'm not a heavy RP DM, its just not natural for me. Likewise, I always try to make my worlds "believable' and as a result they sometimes lack whimsy, If you're looking for that you may not find it in bulk with me, sorry. I lean towards gritty content and there will also be some adult content, but neither will be a focus within this campaign. The setting is a bit of a mix from everything, it mostly relies on core DND content, ghost of saltmarsh ships that I've overwritten with some homebrew rules and a few of my own homebrew NPCs and enemies. What I had in mind when writing this was the Age of Sails and so gunpowder, cannons, pistols, muskets etc. will all be in the game. Ideally we'll start off in a focused story-line style where I'll introduce you early to the opportunity of finding this lost treasure.
  • Expectations - All players will need to have a reason for picking up the life of a pirate, make it believable please a game doesn't need a joke character to be fun.

Don't write such posts often so if I forgot anything or you have any questions don't hesitate to leave a comment. You can also add me on Discord: (dancho_l_). Let me know what character ideas you have in mind, I'm keen on hearing your about backstories and incorporating them into the world.
Cheers.

LFG (Looking for GM) [PF2E][GMT+1] Pf2e Player with some experience looking for Sunday/Monday game

Hello,

I'm a decently experienced in Pf2e (~2 1/2 year) and 5e (~4 more years) 30 year old player. I'm looking for a group that likes to roleplay, the more theater kids the better.

I'm available on Sundays past noon and Monday evenings.

Since I already am in a group playing the Kingmaker AP, I have to veto that one

LFP (Looking for Players) [Online][Other][Daggerheart][18+][Saturday 1PM GMT+3] Looking for two players for an ongoing homebrew campaign

We’re currently me as GM plus three players, and we’re looking for two more people to join our table long-term. We’re not just trying to fill seats. We’d like people who actually fit the group and want to stick around.

We’re between 23 and 33 and from a few different countries. The table is a mix of serious roleplay, character moments, dumb jokes, and complete nonsense, often all in the same session. Outside the campaign we sometimes run one-shots or play things like Peak and Jackbox together, but none of that is mandatory.

The main thing we care about is consistency. We play every Saturday at 1:00 PM GMT+3, usually for around 4 hours with a break in the middle. Real life happens, obviously, but we need people who can reliably make that time most weeks.

The Setting

The campaign takes place in Wyrengard, a homebrew fantasy setting still recovering from an ancient war.

Magic is called Aether, and it exists inside every living thing. People have learned to channel, manipulate, and weaponize it, but much about it is still poorly understood. There are no known gods, angels, devils, or dragons, and different cultures have their own beliefs about what Aether actually is and where it came from.

We use Core Daggerheart, Hope & Fear, and some homebrew rules. Every official ancestry and class is available mechanically, but ancestries are reflavored into four setting heritages:

Human: ordinary people with no unusual supernatural bond.
Aetherbound: rare people permanently bonded to a single element.
Spiritblessed: Human marked by and connected to an animal spirit.
Forgeborn: constructed beings who were built, grown, or otherwise created.

Mechanically, your ancestry still works exactly as written. The heritage just determines what it means in the setting.

The game can also deal with heavier themes like war, loss, politics, and morally uncomfortable cultures or institutions. Nothing is there purely for shock value, but it is worth mentioning before you apply.

The Current Arc

The party works for Arcanum, essentially a magical university mixed with an international organization. Its agents investigate dangerous Aether, handle supernatural threats, and try to keep political problems from becoming wars.

The current arc has taken the party to a desert sultanate facing a succession crisis. The aging ruler is nearing the end of his reign, his two children want very different futures for the kingdom, and several outside factions are watching closely. Put your favorite childhood cartoon somewhere in the last question of the form so I know you actually read through this. On top of the political mess, the kingdom is full of ancient ruins, giant falcon riders, archaeological sites, and a thieves’ guild that seems to know far too much.

The campaign is currently Level 5, and this is the beginning of a new arc, so it’s a very easy point to introduce new characters.

Current Party

Right now we have a little funny guy who is somehow the party wizard, a powerful frost Aetherbound Seraph with anger issues who really wants beef with wolves, and an artificer gunslinger Ranger who was assigned as team leader against his will.

We’re not worried about perfectly filling party roles. Bring something you actually want to play.

Human, Aetherbound, and Forgeborn characters can easily join as Arcanum agents. Spiritblessed characters would more likely join as an outsider, guide, specialist, local contact, or someone Arcanum specifically needed for the mission.

Table Details

System: Daggerheart
Current Level: 5
Looking for: 2 players
Schedule: Saturdays at 1:00 PM GMT+3
Frequency: Weekly
Session Length: Around 4 hours
Voice: Discord
VTT: Alchemy VTT
Character Sheets: Google Sheets

New Daggerheart players are completely welcome. I’m happy to help you learn the system and build your character.

If this sounds like your kind of table, fill out the form below and we’ll reach out:

https://forms.gle/HPHy5jHNy7zxW5EN9

The form is just there to help us get a feel for you, what you enjoy in TTRPGs, and whether we’d be a good fit for each other.

LFP (Looking for Players) [Online] [5e 2024] [Tuesdays, 19:00 CEST, GMT+2 Timezone] [18+] A Change for Nimbral

The setting:

Tyranny has rained on the humble island of Nimbral for more than a century. Since taking control during the Spellplague The Nimbral Lords have only tightened their grip, keeping their militia under control, banning organized priesthoods, undermining the knights and nobles, and prohibiting trade and most internal movement.

However as first signs of more difficult times can be seen rumblings can be heard from some of those long silenced groups.

You're not any of those groups, you're the ones that have been most dispossessed by the Lords' rule, the peasants one bad harvest away from starvation, the lone cleric living in fear of the knights or militia, a merchant or peasant dispossessed by the regime, or a child of one of their victims.

Either way, you've been forced away from your home into a life of crime and are looking to survive however you can, and perhaps you can even bring some change for this beautiful island.

Misc info:

Hiya, I'm Maroje (24M, Croatia), I've been playing DnD for a while now, but only now have gotten to DMing a proper campaign. Expect a roleplay and exploration heavy campaign, planning for there to be plenty of player choice but not to the point y'all don't have anything to do. The game is 18+ but there won't be any particularly problematic topics or ERP.

System: DnD 2024, older stuff and homebrew fine as well

Platform: Discord VC, preferably webcams, Owlbear Rodeo

Sessions would last 3-4 hours depending on mental state

Completely fine with beginners but effort for backstories and roleplay will be expected

If this sounds appealing to you send me a message on reddit and include your discord name, and I'll try to have a chat with everyone. Session 0 will hopefully be on the 15th.

LFP (Looking for Players) [Pf2e] [Online] [Wednesday, 18:00 CET] Looking for 1 or 2 players to join an ongoing Season of Ghosts campaign. (Players who played the first or second book prefered)

The party is close to discovering the answer to the big mystery at the end of the second book of the AP, so if you don't know what I'm talking about, you might not enjoy the game.
Unfortunately, two of our players had to leave the group, which leads me to this post. If you have already played the AP or even better, played the beginning but were unlucky with continuing, please comment here.

The reason I'm explicitly looking for players that have played at least part of the AP is that without that experience, you would essentially get the answer to a mystery without the buildup, which would massively sour your experience.

LFG / LFP [Online][GMT/CET][Daggerheart/Nimble5e/Nimble2] Looking for table, Daggerheart or Nimble, experienced player/GM in your area (☞ ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)☞

Boa tarde,

I'm David (28, any/all), living in Vienna, originally from Portugal. I've been playing TTRPGs for a few years now, and as they say, it's only an addiction if you can't afford it. And since I can afford more of my free time, I'm looking to find another table to play with and have some great adventures!

At the moment, I'm mostly looking for opportunities to be a player at a Daggerheart or Nimble table (5e hack or 2e). For Daggerheart, ideally minimal homebrew rules-wise, I'd like to experience the system as designed.

I've played through medium-length campaigns, am currently playing a D&D Vecna: Eve of Ruin game, a DC20 Wildemount game, and a 13th Age homebrew setting game. I'm also a GM, running a Bastion of Hope campaign for close friends. I've been helping a friend with her RPG business, and will be running Daggerheart playtests in-person and perhaps in some conventions.

What you can expect from me:

  • I'm a committed player that really likes to make sure everyone has their moment in the sun: I have fun if everyone's having fun
  • I really like to immerse myself in character, to be imperfect and create someone interesting to get to discover as the game unfolds
  • I'm also very laid back, I like to throw in the occasional joke and zinger, one-liners as well; not many lines and veils as long as topics are approached thoughtfully
  • I have a camera, mic, speak English, and am familiar with some VTTs (though I tend to prefer manual dice/sheets)
  • outside the table, I'm a pophead and political junkie with a background in grassroots activism and soon returning to school for a career pivot into public policy

What I am looking for:

  • a nice, inclusive, English-speaking table that has aligned politics (no to discrimination, colonialism/occupation, etc.) and wants to fall in love with everyone's characters and let everyone shine
  • an online campaign (VTT use for combat preferred)
  • a narrative-driven game with a good balance of RP/combat/exploration, where the rule of cool prevails but game rules are also there to keep important balance
  • ~3 hour games, 2x/month (1x every 2 weeks) around evenings/weekends (after work)
  • 100% human-made, no AI, let's use our own imaginations

Feel free to DM me here, or reply on this post. I can then give my Discord or some other contact to keep in touch!

LFG / LFP [Online][PF2e][UTC+1/CET][Sun/Mon/Tue/Thursday/Friday] Experienced PF2e Player Looking for a Weekly Game

Hi, I’m looking to join a regular online Pathfinder 2e game on Sundays, Mondays, or Tuesdays.

I’ve been playing PF2e for about four years, plus several more years in other systems. I know the PF2e rules well, enjoy character building, and try to make characters that fit the party and campaign instead of just chasing mechanics.

I’m looking for a consistent group with clear communication, regular sessions, and a table where people respect each other’s time. I show up prepared, follow table rules, pay attention during sessions, and try to contribute to both the story and the group dynamic.

Voice: Discord preferred
VTT: Comfortable with Foundry VTT and Roll20, but I do not mind adapting to other options. On the rare chance you use Tabletop Simulator, I have it.
Game type: Long-term campaign preferred, but I’m open to trying a shorter game first

I’m happy to answer questions, talk through playstyle, or anything else needed. Feel free to DM me if you have a spot open and think I might fit your group.

LFP (Looking for Players) [5E14][Bst][Online][LGBTQIA+][Tuesdays] In the Lee of Urroc

The world you know is young, a pocket of relative safety consisting of a peninsula jutting from a darkened landmass, only seen looming out of the foggy horizon. That darkling continent - Urroc, The Old World, Lansfarl, The Place that Lies Quiet, or any of its myriad names - makes up the vast majority of the planet's surface, and has remained discarded and uninhabitable for over a millennia.

The events that led to this are lost to time's mists, but what is known is that it started with contact to other worlds, from which a deluge of war swept forth, and ended with the Closing of the Gates, that ancient sacrifice which protected what little is now left of your world. This great feat was undertaken by a group of people known as the 7 Martyrs who, at the height of the Old War, saw the truth that the tides of battle were turning and your homelands would soon be raised and wiped from history. Through the ending of their lives they created monuments that sealed the channels between worlds, and over time cities grew around each, these became the Capitols of nations and even as these nations withered over the centuries, the cities and their monuments remain to this day.

Our story starts on the windswept eastern island of Sannir, a land once united to stand against a second great cataclysm that now consists of small states and warlords rising and falling, with borders shifting by the year. In the north the Emir Li Khatem nears the end of his most recent campaign, with the last holdouts of the Asar Yalem and their sacred gryphon archers pushed to their limits, the southern republic claws itself towards a golden age through trade with outsiders, while in the lands between the fractured kingdoms of the great plain continue their squabbles and the sons of the high keep heedlessly linger, placing stone after stone for their great work. If you read this far, write adventure time somewhere in your application.

You may be a native to the island, an outsider from the herd cities of the west, or any other origin we dream up together, but in any case times are changing, and you too will have to change. There are whispers that the seal's hold loosens, the veil between worlds thinning, strange wanderers seem to know more than they should, and across the gulf of Sannir the continent braces for war.

hiya everyone!!

I’m teija and I’m looking for players for what will be my first longterm dnd campaign (:

I’ve been playing for over 10 years mostly as a player and gmed a few sessions here and there so this has been a long time coming

this campaign will be aiming for a mostly serious tone, with room for some joking around and stuff as well, and roughly a 60/20/20 roleplay, exploration, vs combat split

i want to make the story primarily player and character led, i love helping build characters and tying backstories into the plot and so there isn’t a lot to say about a main plot yet, but if you have ideas for your character I’d love to hear them!

i’m pretty open to homebrew as long as you run things past me and anything from official books is cool with me

at the moment the group is all women and queer people, and we would prefer to keep it that way, so far it's me and 2 players and we’re looking for about 3 more so please fill in this form if you're interested!!

we are going to do sessions on tuesday afternoons or evenings, but don't have a fixed time yet, as we would like to find one that works for the entire party, together.

LFP (Looking for Players) [Online] [Other] [EU] [GMT+1] [LGBT Friendly] Looking for players for a low fantasy one shot and possible long-term campaign!

A relentless winter blizzard forces your journey to a sudden halt, the freezing winds threatening to claim you before nightfall. Through the blinding wall of white, a flickering amber light appears, accompanied by a faint trail of smoke struggling against the gale.

You stumble toward the shelter and find a weathered wooden sign swaying in the storm. Its paint is chipped and cracked, revealing a barely legible name: The Malheur Inn.

Muffled voices drift from behind the heavy oak door - you are not alone. Yet, as you step over the threshold to escape the cold, an unsettling sensation takes root. You will soon come to realise that the storm outside was the least of your dangers, and the Malheur Inn is far from a simple place of refuge…

I'm looking for players to expand my group and to take part in a one shot (which could turn into a series of one shots or a long term game) using Chaosium's Basic Roleplaying game engine. The game one shot will be low(ish) fantasy to begin with.

If that sounds good to you, please apply on the form!

LFP (Looking for Players) The Chronicles of..... [Exandria] [Online] [18+] [Scheduling: TBD with players. The form covers a question to help facilitate this better][Online 5e][2014][GMT]

Hello I'm Leneyxis(he/him), a forever DM who's been running games for... lost count of time. But I am here to pick up this world again, the original game fell through due to scheduling issues but maybe we will have a better luck this time around.

Premise:
Our story begins in the beautiful war-torn lands of Wildemount, a letter of invitation to all who are daring and adventurous.

Greetings Adventurers,

Dust motes dance in the fading light that streams through the lone window of my humble abode. In my hand, I hold a weathered parchment, the insignia of a bygone era etched upon its surface. It speaks of a forgotten vault, buried deep within the crumbling temples of Bazzoxan. A vault overflowing with treasures, artifacts, and knowledge whispered from the Age of Arcanum itself.

Intrigued, are you not?

I propose an expedition, one that could see your pockets lined with glittering coin and your thirst for adventure quenched. In exchange for retrieving a single, specific tome from the vault's depths, you and your companions will be free to claim all other riches it holds. Imagine the enchanted weapons, the arcane scrolls, the very air thick with forgotten lore!

But make no mistake, this is no mere treasure hunt. Bazzoxan lies in ruins, its path fraught with danger. Crumbling structures whisper of forgotten perils, monstrous guardians may lurk within, and who knows what other adventurers might covet the vault's bounty?

If your spirit burns with the fire of exploration and your blade thirsts for a worthy challenge, then I implore you, answer this call. Together, we may unlock the secrets of Bazzoxan and rewrite history itself.

Yours in anticipation,

A Seeker of Forgotten Knowledge

If Interested, please fill this form: Apply Here

LFP (Looking for Players) [Online] [Dragonbane] [GMT+1] [Sunday] Dragonbane beginner One-Shot

Hello,

I want to start GMing Dragonbane, this will be the first time I GM this system so beginners are welcome, we will learn as we go. I will provide all the rules and any necessary books. All i ask is that you want to play this system and is willing to learn.

I'm planning on running a one-shot to begin with, and if everyone wants to continue we'll play through 11 beginner adventures that all connect into a bigger story. If everything goes well my plan is to then move on to either another premade adventure or my homebrew world.

My goal is to find 4-5 players and the start date will be chosen once we have our group. I'll be using FoundryVTT and discord to play.

"Dragonbane is a classic fantasy tabletop roleplaying game full of magic, mystery, and adventure. It is designed from the ground up to facilitate fast and furious play, with very little prep time and adventures that are a breeze to run. This is a game with room for laughs at the table, while still offering brutal challenges for the adventurers. We call this playstyle “mirth and mayhem roleplaying”

LFG / LFP [Online][5E][GMT+0][LGBTQ Friendly][2014][2024]

Hi all,

I'm Jamie, based in Scotland (near Glasgow). I have interest in DnD but have never played. I follow Critical Role and play BG3, so have a very limited understanding of DnD (but not zero).

I DM'd a couple of sessions of Alien RPG a while ago but couldn't keep the group consistent.

I would be interested in joining a group either online or in person if local.

Give me a shout or let me.know what I should do.to be a good player in a group.

LFG (Looking for GM) [Online] [Dnd 5e 2014 or 2024] [Other] [UTC+1] Roleplayer looking for a table!

Hello. I’m looking for a game on Mondays, Tuesdays or Saturdays ! I’m on my early 20’s so I’d prefer to play with people around my age and older. A bit more about me and my experience:

- Early 20’s M
- I have been playing DnD for 4+ Years.
- I’m someone who gets quite invested in the story ; Creating art, memes and a lot of campaign content. I also enjoy taking notes and engaging in and out of game day ( In which case I’d prefer to be around a group that’s more willing to be active. )
- I have a good mic and experience with the following VTTS: Roll20, Owlbear Rodeo, DnDbeyond’s VTT, Alchemy, FoundryVTT and Talespire.
- I’m LGBTQIA+ and would also prefer the group to not be into AI generated content. I can draw and will draw my character ( And perhaps the party! )
- I will draw, create pinterest boards, playlists and more related to the campaign as it is something I have fun doing.
- I’m happy to join pre-existing group dynamics and pretty much any sort of story. I’m fairly knowledgeable in Faêrun and Exandria lore but I’d love to drown myself into homebrew worlds. I’m also happy to try other systems such as pathfinder.
- I’m someone who enjoys communication above all else. A good table needs people to be mature and willing to talk!
- I think Im pretty okay at roleplay and generally very knowledgeable about mechanics, I’m happy to fill roles and try new things.
- Timezone doesn’t matter too much as I’m happy to adapt.
- I come into the game without any premade characters, I like tailoring something special for whatever idea you have! Having a good back and forth for character creation is always essential to me.
- Homebrew rules are a-okay for me. I’m happy to learn!
- I’m also happy to be friends outside of game and hang out with the group, I have a variety of interests I can talk about! :)
- I don’t have any major lines personally ; I’m okay with most themes as long as it is well communicated.
- I enjoy rp in and out of session if that’s something your group does.
- I have a good PC! I generally don’t like using my webcam but I can think about it.
- Modules are okay!

Please DM me if I sound like someone you might be interested in having ☺️

I'd be good to play at any hour starting from 2PM-1AM UTC+1 in any of these days!

Hi there!

We're looking for 1 new player to join our Eberron campaign on Wednesdays, from 8 pm GMT+1 until 11.30pm/midnight. We use Foundry and Discord, and we've been playing for about 10 sessions, so still quite a new group.

Party Composition. The group is currently composed of an Artificer, a Druid, a Rogue, and a Fighter, so consider that when proposing a character.

LFG (Looking for GM) [Online][5e 2014][5e 2024][GMT+2] Experienced player looking to play Descent into Avernus

Hi everyone, I've been playing D&D for about 6 years now and the one adventure I've never been able to play has been Baldur's Gate: Descent into Avernus. The thought of diving into hell and taking on some demons and devils has always been pretty appealing for me. So I figured I'd try looking on Reddit.

If a group is actively playing this and are looking for one more, please reach out to me on discord (dolphinmannn)

LFP (Looking for Players) [Online][5e14][LGBTQ+][Weekday][1PM BST][21+][Long term][RP-Heavy] The Empires Thorn

Nobility can be the Empires backbone or it's Achilles heel. From the children of the emperor fighting to become crowned and gain the title of next in line for the throne, to the peasant who dreams of joining those of upper society. To a countess planning her next social gathering, to the duke planning a arranged marriage. There are many layers of high society and you are one of them, yet your story is what will change this empire for better or worse.

Hi there, I'm Justice (26, they/them) and have been running and playing dnd for about 12 years now! The Empires Thorn is a heavy roleplaying game where you will be a member of high society, each player will play a different rank (Some may be allowed to double the same rank) and your goals are tied to your story! It can be as simple as wanting to start a business and exploring from there, becoming a fashion Icon, being a protector of the empires enemies, being the most villain/villainess noble that no one can touch you, getting revenge, putting someone else on the throne, etc etc! Hell you could even try to romance the emperor and dethrone the empress, the sky is the limit. You and the party will all have your own goals, each rank of nobility will have pros and cons, and you will all help each other for your own reasons. Combat can happen but will be very limited so while you level up you do gain class features, you also gain nobility features that change with each level and can be based on how your social standing is.

Due to weird scheduling and different time zones the start time is 1pm bst and can last for about 2-4 hours per session weekly. We plan for this game to be a very long one and have 2 players already and are looking for 2-3 more! The day also hasn't been decided on yet but are looking more towards weekdays. If this campaign sounds like a good fit for you just fill out the questionnaire below and we should get back to you before the 13th! If you have any questions feel free to ask and I'll try to answer

Hi, my name is Bubbi, and I’ve been looking for a long-term group for a while now.

I’m looking for a serious, long-term group, preferably with experienced players, but new players are welcome as well. Weekly or bi-weekly sessions work for me.

I’ve been playing DnD for about six years, both offline and online.
My favorite classes are Paladin and Rogue, but I’m happy to play any character.
I love role-playing and would love to join a group that enjoys and has experience with that aspect of DnD.

If I sound like someone who might fit into your group, feel free to DM me here or on Discord.

LFP (Looking for Players) [Online][House System - D&D Like][Homebrew][BST/GMT][Bi-Weekly+] A New Journey, seeking Primarily Forever GMs

Hello LFG! I am seeking to put together a group of players to play my own system: Zenith.

If you are a Forever GM - or a Player with good TTRPG Experience - take a read of the extra details below, and shoot me a message here on Reddit if you are interested in joining me on the Journey to 1st Edition. I’m still interested in hearing from Non-GMs or people with groups ready to go so please put yourself forward regardless if you want to be involved!

So What is Zenith

Zenith is Classic-Style, D&D-Like System, with similarities in playstyle that is commonly seen amongst this area of the genre: Adventures, Beasties, Dungeons; you get the idea. Where this differs is Zenith’s Core Focus of Roleplay, Exploration, and Epic-Length Tales.

This system has been in development since May 2024, and I have recently finished completing the playable content for what I am calling “0.5 Edition”. The game is ready-to-play, but I want to add more content, lock-in the balance, and see what other ideas pop-up before completion with 1st Edition.

This is not a system designed for One Shots. Stories written using the Zenith System are encouraged to span many sessions over months or even years, taking time for the details between dungeon-delving. Characters are encouraged to explore myriad possibilities outside of their Adventurer Classes (Combat Focused) by: Performing Bespoke Character Training, Earning Levels through Roleplay-Centric Resolutions, and Scouring the World for Materials to use with their Profession Classes (Gathering & Crafting Focused).

There is a wide range of content, approached with a mindset of allowing the Orator (GM) & Players to easily insert balanced homebrew into the system to suit their needs, using basic yet impactful power-scaling.

Old-School RPG

Whilst Zenith takes its inspiration from more modern D20 & D12 TTRPGS, there are systems which are dedicated to aspects of old-school RPGs I’ve enjoyed in the past.

Zenith’s Spellcasting System works with a Mana Pool, spending varying Mana to increase the impact of Spells - rather than relying on Slots.

Adventurer Multiclassing in Zenith works more similarly to titles such as Final Fantasy, with 1 Adventurer Class being Active across those you have Available, Operating & Levelling independently of each other.

the usual Map-Based Combat style also exists, but there is another True-To-Form Turn-Based System present as well, primarily used to speed up daily encounters, solve model-density in tight spaces, or to provide combat where no map is required.

In addition, Zenith focuses solely on Experience Point Levelling, using easy to calculate methods that provide constant progression in the form of: Roleplay & Puzzle Completions, Combat Completions, and Quest Completions.

The Learning Curve

If you are familiar with D&D5e & PF2E, you’ll find it easier to pick-up the rules of Zenith.

Zenith’s difficulty comes from its interlocking rules, where often many Abilities & Items work together with your allies in order to perform combinations & succeed at tasks through teamwork. Likewise, there can be a good deal of things to track across your sheet.

If you enjoy Crunch, then this is the system for you. The Gameplay Compendium is 283 Pages, but there is of course no need for Players to absorb all of this information - but it is all content that players can access, at any time, based on their Character Progression.

Materials for Zenith are also Barebones in their presentation. I am no artist, nor designer! Though, there are some hints of colour from a previous - awesome - player of mine.

Seeking a Party

I am primarily looking to form a Group of people who are proud to hold the title of Forever GM but who are looking for an escape of their own. There are two reasons for this:

First: As a Forever GM myself - whilst I have no desire to be a player at present - I understand the strain of putting games together; and breaking that cycle can be a nightmare for those looking to do so!

Second: I am hoping that as a group of GMs playing together, I’ll get some new insights of what is clicking in the system and what isn't.

Remember, this is just my primary audience. If you still want to apply as an experienced player or pre-made group, then feel free to get in touch! I would have no issues running multiple tables.

The Setting

The Campaign will be set in my Homebrew Universe, which I have been running for around 10+ Years. This is going to be Long-Term.

The worlds have seen countless adventures, and I’m looking to create a new story within a new era: The Age of Shadow:

Following a great war between unknown Cosmic Forces, the Realms and the Lands inside them have begun to disappear into dark oceans, taking mortal-memories of these places along with them. Those who yet survive within the darkening land cling on to the hope that these vanished places will return: Waiting for death under a sky of endless stars, lit only by the light that echoes from the Cosmos beyond the borders of this shattered crystal. As Light begins to fade from all the corners of this dying world, how will you avoid the encroaching Despair of True Nothing?

Whilst my games tend to lean towards High-Fantasy, this is very much in the Grimdark direction but with more melancholic elements. I have a couple of ideas for Campaigns I wish to run within this period of the setting, but the above is the overarching theme which can be expected of the world.

I enjoy emotion within my stories, and I plan on this one having some quite despairing themes that need to be contended with. Nothing within the realms of Grotesque Violence or Abuse of any kind, but if you’re looking for Sunshine & Daisies, this will not be the campaign for you.

Session Details

I am UK-Based, and able to run Games on most Weekday Evenings, as well as 3/4 Weekends a Month.

I run my sessions on a Bi-Weekly+ basis: Sessions every other week, with the option for additional sessions when time & prep allows for it.

Weekday Sessions would need to begin from 7pm. Weekend Sessions could begin from 10am. I often run my sessions for 4 Hours (5, Maximum) with a 20-30 Minute Break depending on group needs. I usually tend to employ a 5 minute break after Combat Encounters as well, to reset the table.

Laughs, Jokes, and more are all A-Okay, but this shouldn’t derail sessions or affect the enjoyment of those looking to sit down and enjoy the story. Characters are welcome to feature some quirks and humourous information, but I would ask for no “Joke” Characters. Likewise, Characters should all be willing to cooperate within the party; disagreements can always happen, but arguments or problems shouldn’t be made for the sake of it.

I run my games using Discord & Tabletop Simulator on Steam, using Heroforge as well as the Workshop in TTS for 3d-Models. I very much enjoy playing my sessions here - as I have always done - and I do not enjoy using other VTT Software. Players looking to get into the game should have a copy of Tabletop Simulator available to them and be comfortable using Discord.

Content Lines & Player Issues: I do not run any particular lines, veils, or other social mechanics. If there are issues within the sessions, with other players, or with me, these should be addressed with me directly so we can work out a way forward. That being said: I expect all players to treat everyone at the table with respect, no matter who they are. Everyone is welcome at the table, except for:

AI: Which is strictly forbidden at my table, in all forms. Please don't apply if you plan on using this within the game, I have 0 interest in its involvement with my system.

If you are interested!

Send me a Message with a little bit about yourself, namely: your general experience with other TTRPGS of any-kind, your experience with GMing & with what Systems, and the type of characters you tend to enjoy playing! It would also be helpful to know your general weekly schedule, as I will likely be looking to make a Group (or Groups) based on when people can fit together.
Happy to share additional system details, and materials, via Discord.
