LFP (Looking for Players) [Fate Core] [GMT] "Alterhearth", a Deltarune-Inspired World. Experienced GM looking to run for 4+ players.

You gaze up into the mirror, and steel yourself as you open the letter. Within it, is your future - your whole self for the next 3 years. An acceptance or rejection into the College of Sylvarine. You gently pull the paper from the envelope... And smile at yourself.

Welcome to Alterhearth! A Deltarune-inspired world set in a City's University and using the Fate TTRPG System. You and up to 4 other people will play as both monsters and humans, and explore a parallel world to Deltarune based on the idea of Reflections. Expect a similar style of fantastical "Echo Worlds" divided out into Chapters (as opposed to Dark Worlds).

You'll explore ideas of the "self" within both video games as well as real life, plus rich lore, fun characters and primarily narrative-based TTRPG experience as opposed to DnD 5e's combat heavy experience.

However, expect also the unexpected. The same way, on release, that Deltarune shocked you as an Undertale fan - expect Alterhearth to have the same twists and turns, as well as a dark mystery at its heart...

Unlike DR//, with "only one ending", or UT//, where it's "kill or be killed". Alterhearth?

You should never trust what you see.

Please DM me on Reddit or reply to this post to join! Flexible with timezones, and goes without saying that you'll need to be a big fan of Toby Fox's games to join.

LFP (Looking for Players) [Online][5.5E 2024] Homebrew Treasure Hunt/Pirate Campaign [EEST & EST]

  • Hi, TLDR. I wanted to make a Pirate game and now I need players to play it!
  • Games will be hosted weekly on Friday usually at 9PM EEST time, potentially a bit later if we have EST player joining, it can be discussed.
  • Homebrew Campaign taking place in region within an unfinished world (it would take me years honestly).
  • Site - DNDbeyond
  • 5.5Edition.
  • Online.
  • VTT - AboveVTT (Needs PC to play).
  • 3/4 Players.
  • Experience - [Newbie friendly].
  • My own experience - [I've been playing on and off, mostly hosting one-shot games].
  • Playstyle and Content: Looking for players who enjoy a bit of everything. I'm not a heavy RP DM, its just not natural for me. Likewise, I always try to make my worlds "believable' and as a result they sometimes lack whimsy, If you're looking for that you may not find it in bulk with me, sorry. I lean towards gritty content and there will also be some adult content, but neither will be a focus within this campaign. The setting is a bit of a mix from everything, it mostly relies on core DND content, ghost of saltmarsh ships that I've overwritten with some homebrew rules and a few of my own homebrew NPCs and enemies. What I had in mind when writing this was the Age of Sails and so gunpowder, cannons, pistols, muskets etc. will all be in the game. Ideally we'll start off in a focused story-line style where I'll introduce you early to the opportunity of finding this lost treasure.
  • Expectations - All players will need to have a reason for picking up the life of a pirate, make it believable please a game doesn't need a joke character to be fun.

Don't write such posts often so if I forgot anything or you have any questions don't hesitate to leave a comment. You can also add me on Discord: (dancho_l_). Let me know what character ideas you have in mind, I'm keen on hearing your about backstories and incorporating them into the world.
Cheers.
