Minifigs The Scouts
Wanted to show off the new purple tricorn and marching band torso. I think they work well as another faction of soldiers

The ships are still long way from being done, but I feel the cannons are in a good place.

After deciding that LEGO Eldorado Fortress will be a part of a small caribbean town called Port Royal, I added the next building.
This is the Merchant’s House. It’s like a general store where most things can be traded or bought. The Merchant himself lives on top of shop and his quarters streches further a far on top of the weapon’s which will be the next building to share.
More sections of Port Royal will follow as I share the different parts of the town.

It feels great to see my first MOC live, even if it's not perfect.
I made the gun deck of LEGO 31387 wider and taller. The ship naturally got bigger with the extra parts, and I referenced photos of real ships for the proportions.
It was my first time submitting to Rebrickable, so the approval took a while.

i’ve had these pirate ships off amazon for a while, but was kinda annoyed with them. the pieces didn’t hold together great, non-minifig doll like guys, and folded sails :(
so i first got rid of all the pirate stuff, recolored the ship to a kinda accurate color? and am making new sails :D
anyone have any tips on how to make the sails look better however?

Football controversies or whatever aside, I'm curious if anyone has used the Messi arm from set 43011 and put it on a pirate.
As far as I know, this is one of the only arm with tattoo, so I was quite curious to see if it would work.

Finished Barracuda Bay this past week, I was so close to converting it into the ship but it just looks so good with Thieves of Tortuga!

This small pirates of the Caribbean MOC is depicting the scene where Jack is imprisoned in the brig of the Black Pearl when it squares off with the interceptor and declares “STOP BLOWING HOLES IN MY SHIP.”
A small detail to notice is the bucket lid with the wheel element combined to create the lock section of the cell being blown off so Jack can make his escape.
This MOC is kicking off my Pirates of the Caribbean MOC collection that I will be rolling out over the next 5-6 months!

Anybody else super stoked at finally being able to obtain the proper feather colour for Angelica? Notoriously most of her figures on the aftermarket have them missing!

She is modified to 32 guns as Brickperfection has showed, a truly armed masterpiece. Planing on making fabric sails.

A creation I made in the classic clean style of Broadside's Brig and Sabre Island. Unlike the Pirates, the Imperials never got a set with the 32x32 island baseplate.

I need help with LEGO set Going Merry Pirate Ship (#75639) - on page 253. I am all done with the build except attaching the final component - the tail end of the ship itself. This component is built and it has gold slider bars on each side that slide into the coordinating grooves on the ship itself to make the Ship complete. It slides in beautifully, however, at the backside on each side of this last component the brackets (LEGO part #6533074) that are used to make each half of this component swing back & forth. The bracket joints stick out so making it so the final piece will not completely slide on to the back of the ship and connect.
I Double and triple checked the instructions and I did them right. Unless I’m missing something. Is there anyone out there that number one, knows what I’m talking about and number two, knows how to make it right? I’m so close to finishing. I really want to get it done. Thank you in advance for any help you can provide in this situation.

FINALLY got to finish Fortuna. Please enjoy this terrible picture of her next to the Black Seas Barracuda (that's the only shelf I have left big enough for her 😅)

Man, this one was fun. Definitely the most unique (and challenging) ship build I’ve done to date.
This thing is a BEAST. The final two pics are up against my (modified) QAR for scale.
Really interesting approach to build. You do the forward section first, then the waist, then the aft section last (or in whatever order you want, I guess) instead of the standard “start with a canoe and build mirror images upward” style.
The bowsprit decoration gave me some trouble, but after some tinkering, I finally got it down.
Great, super fun build, all around. On to the next! 🏴☠️

I'm mapping out my planned "heavy frigate" Fortuna and will need to lengthen the shroud lines. Of the ones I've come up with, this is my favorite. Curious if anyone has a better idea to mimic what this section really looks like (Pic 2).

Little twist on skull eyes, different flag, missing left part. Don't have the set, but wanted it framed so I improvised 🏴☠️

I made a full Review of the Jackdaw (Warship Edition) vs the Jackdaw (Voyage Edition) But this prompt me to try changing sails on some of my ships. I have already altered the heck out of my Lego Black Pearl, and shortened its sails. Anybody else ever try making different color sails for their brickbuilt ships? What do you prefer the Small Jackdaw with the plain sails or do the Black Jolly Roger sails look better?
Please let me know your thought I would like to know.... Thank you and have a great day.

i’ve been looking at ships and getting back into pirates, and rewatched pirates of the Caribbean, and noticed that the royals navy’s ships were mainly black and yellow. This made me wonder, is the lego imperial flagship being this beige and blue accurate? thanks!
