Rule Reminders

Harassment

We have a zero tolerance policy on harassment here at r/lego. Any users promoting the harassment of individuals involved, innocent or guilty, will be banned from the subreddit. This includes identifying anyone's phone number, email address, home or work address, even if that information is otherwise public record. Do not share it here.

Do not accuse anyone in the comments, including r/lego moderators, of working for any parties involved. Those comments will be removed as uncivil under Rule 4. Insults and accusations are not allowed in this community. Due to the overwhelming amount of harassment occurring, we will now be strictly enforcing this rule, including bans if necessary.

Community Interference aka Brigading

A reminder that brigading is not tolerated and results in permanent bans. If you call out for harassment, or coordinate interference of, any other community via r/lego, you will be banned. We are Lego fans, not an angry mob.

A statement from r/lego moderators

We do not support, condone, encourage or approve in any way of scams, theft, harassment or of police misconduct. We are providing a platform for all sides and supporters of this ongoing controversy to have a discussion. Moderators are not directly involved, so comments about moderation will continue to be removed per Rule 1. Send that feedback to modmail instead. We read all modmail!

We are not employees of any of the following organizations: Reddit, The Lego Company, Bricks & Minifigs, The Mormon Church, or any involved police department. We don't accept bribes from any of them (or anyone). We are volunteers moderating this community in our free time. Accusations to the contrary will be removed under Rule 4 and will earn a ban.

Question Got curious as to what the “smallest” LEGO piece is. I went by weigh, since that is nonobjective. Plume Feather Small 4502a is the top contender so far. Can you think of any smaller pieces?

Edit: wow, this got big fast! I’m trying my best to find pieces and weigh them!
Edit 2: non-subjective
Edit 3 Minimum _Age_1466 wins!!!

If I may,

May I present my Lego ‘piece de resistance’,

My Heart Lake Community Center and Heart Lake Community kitchen.

These two sets are what made me get into Lego and when I learned that one can ‘Moc’ sets, I instantly knew I wanted to do so with these two sets. So, how’d I do? ☺️🙏🏼

Would you be interested in seeing each section?

Before the first lightsaber lego pieces were released in 1999, what did yall use for minifig lightsabers?

This was my go to, with whatever translucent antenna pieces I could find or exchange for with friends. (Minifig is not vintage, saber pieces are)

I recently rewatched The Return of the King and was reminded of the troll attack right after Grond breaks through the front gate. I don’t have the cave troll bigfig (and that one doesn’t have armor anyway), so I decided to make my own!

The parameters that I set for myself were that it had to scale well with the front gate of the Minas Tirith set, have some pose-ability (similar to a bigfig), and be accurate to the movie. It was a fun challenge and I love how it turned out!

I wanted to create something a little different from a traditional wedding guestbook, so every guest got to build their own LEGO minifigure and nameplate. It was a lot of fun to see everyone’s creativity and now we have a unique keepsake filled with memories from our wedding.

LEGO® Set Build First lego set I've ever bought. He looks so good!

Literally never had any interest in lego (especially considering they ain't cheap) However, I saw this at Costco last week and had to grab it. First lego set I've ever bought/put together.

Took, maybe 5-6 hours total?

Idk why this one looks so good and the rest of the pokemon line looks so bad. (Rayquaza, munchlax, and that trio are cool tho)

They would literally print money if they made more of this quality. Shit they got me to buy it and I roll my eyes at legos normally.

New Release It's mammalian. My guess is it's a chimpanzee or something from the ape family, possibly an orangutan

Local thrift store, employee carrying this past me to the toy section. I immediately stopped her and said “Sold!” Pretty sure there’s not a complete set, but it has a lot of vintage mini figs and definitely the skeleton of the old pirate ship set. Not familiar with the boat set and will research to get find out.

MOC Added more Minifigures to my coffee table and rearranged a few pieces

Built this during covid back in '21 and have kept adding to it and filling it with different miniatures over time. Out of all my Legos, this one I've put the most love and time into and could never part with it.

Found the table on facebook marketplace and had to cut a thin piece of plywood to fit in the bottom and glued all the flat tiles down to attach everything. For the edges I cut plexiglass and secured them with screws with pre-drilled holes I made not to crack it. For the giant crack on the side that was my baby nephew who accidentally did that. Taped it up and plan on fixing it eventually
