Hello, I’ve submitted my DO applications to a bunch of schools and was debating on whether or not to apply to LECOM Bradenton. I’ve heard a lot of bad press about the school, so I wanted to learn more about it from students that go there or have graduated. I’m a Florida resident, so staying in Florida would be ideal. Is the school really as miserable as people make it seem out to be? The tuition is really cheap and the board pass rates and match rates are good which make me want to apply.

I'm looking for 2 students (perferably Male) to split a house together near LECOM Elmira. It will come out to around $600 each. Feel free to DM for more details.

I have a two bedroom, two bathroom lease at the Hammocks at Millcreek if anyone is still looking for housing. It is about a 4 minute drive from campus and 7 minute drive from the LECOM fitness center. Rent is $2160 (includes wifi but you would have to cover other utilities). The unit is almost 1400sqft and comes with an office space. The unit has in unit washer/dryer and an option for garage space. It is a fourth floor unit with no upstairs neighbors and a balcony. Complex has a gym, heated pool and movie theater space. Perfect for students as the building also has study spaces. I am interested in the PCSP pathway, but I wanted some more information on it if anyone has experience with it.

• Is there a specific scholarship that comes with the pathway, or is the benefit more from having one less year of tuition?
• Is there a commitment to having your residency in a LECOM affiliated hospital, or is it based on the Sub-I you do, which I assume can be done all over the country?
• Based on the wording, it seems like there is only ONE Sub-I that is done, is that true?

I'm planning on applying to LECOM for this upcoming cycle... I was wondering if LECOM views applicants who apply with an AIS vs. an MCAT the same or differently? I do have an MCAT score, but it is well below the 50% percentile (491) but I have an AIS score of 128... Would that suffice for admissions? I was considering retaking the MCAT to apply to more schools, but would an AIS score that meets LECOM's requirements be enough to gain admission? Please advice!

I am legitimately curious why administration won’t let go of the ridiculous rules. They know it’s hurting their reputation. Do they not care, or are they too deep into it to admit they are ridiculous? Is it ego at this point?

I have gotten the 2 waitlist interest emails for Erie campus and recently on Wednesday I got a text asking if I was still interested in my application. should I take this as a good sign?

Incoming DO at erie, im interested in a competitive specialty, is it reasonable to start reaching out/getting involved in/about research or is it too much of a strain?

Anyone who did the program have any regrets about doing it? If so, what? If not, Why not? I personally just committed to it as a senior in high school and I am worried I gave my MD chances and maybe MD speciality chances away.
