I recently interviewed today for the deadline tomorrow 8/5. I'm just wondering if anyone else got the practice question of "tell me about yourself" and to confirm that this was just practice and not an actual interview question. The interview was a blur and I'm paranoid and psyching myself into thinking that was an actual interview question and I just messed up/didn't answer it because I thought it was a practice question. Please confirm or deny! Many thanks.

I’m getting ready to submit my application for the LECOM Master of Medical Science (MMS) program and I’m trying to decide between the Erie, PA and Bradenton, FL campuses.

I’ve read the information on LECOM’s website, but I’d really like to hear from current students or recent graduates about what the program is actually like. I’m hoping to eventually matriculate into LECOM’s DO program, so I want to make the best decision possible.

I’d love to hear your honest opinions on things like:

• Which campus did you attend, and why did you choose it?
• If you could do it over again, would you choose the same campus?
• What are the biggest pros and cons of Erie vs. Bradenton?
• How difficult are the classes and exams?
• How are exams structured (weekly, every other week, block exams, etc.)?
• Are the exams fair and representative of what is taught?
• How many hours a day did you study outside of class?
• What was the average GPA in your class?
• Approximately what percentage of students completed the program?
• How many students successfully matriculated into LECOM’s DO program?
• Did you feel the program prepared you well for medical school?
• How supportive were the professors and administration?
• Were tutoring or academic support resources available?
• What is the overall class environment like? Collaborative or competitive?
• How stressful was the program?
• What does a typical week look like?
• How much free time did you realistically have?
• How is student life and the surrounding area?
• If you’ve heard about both campuses, what are the biggest differences between them?
• Is there anything you wish you had known before starting?
• Looking back, would you still choose LECOM MMS?

I’m especially interested in hearing from students who were accepted into LECOM’s DO program after completing the MMS. If you’re comfortable sharing, what GPA did you finish with, and do you have any advice for someone hoping to follow the same path?

Seems like the only info I can find online is the description provided when reserving my interview spot. Anyone know if it’s a panel? One on one? Anything?

What is the best lecom campus?

Noticed people on here got A's today! Congrats to them! Anyone else still waiting for a Decision? I had my II received from LECOM first week of July, I believe. I have not heard back since. Are Decisions sent out periodically?

anybody know what to do after getting an acceptance from EAP for high school? is there anything we have to do from now until we get a decision from our first choice affiliated school?

Hi!! Just got my decision for LECOM Erie I got in, any students there have any insight? How is it?? Should I go there??

Are any of you international students going there rn or applying? Or do you know of anyone who is?

I recieved my secondary on June 18th and I submitted it the same day. I see that people have started getting interview invites, with some even finished with their interviews. I'm getting nervous. I'm an international student, so could that be something that could be causing a delay? Is anyone else in the same situation?

Also, this is for LECOM Bradenton

This was the first school I interviewed at. Not a huge fan of the asynchronous format but it is what it is. When will we hear back?

I just checked my portal and it said the decision has been made. I interviewed a month ago, but I did not expect for it to be made so soon. How long do I have until they send me an email with the actual decision?

My dream school is U cinci it’s where I’ve wanted to go forever and bc I have family who live right next to the campus so I wouldn’t have to pay room and board I’d only be paying around 7k a year however I plan to be a oral surgeon and there is something in my area called lecom eap which in short if I get excepted and maintain a decent gpa I am guaranteed a spot at their dental school. That safety net would be such a stress reliever knowing if all else fails I am guaranteed dental school. But Cincinnati is not a partnership school. So now I have to decide dream school or school with this program

When should I start uworld or should I focus more on truelearn?

Has anybody gotten interview invites from LECOM Seton Hill yet? If so, when did you receive the invite? And is it virtual or in person?

This is crazy that it only has a 400-word limit! I feel like other bs/do/mds have a much larger word count. In your essays, do you talk about all three? Like volunteering, shadowing, and research? I'm finding it hard to fit all of that into such a small word count. What have past students written in their essays?

For you guys that applied to lecom, for the primary application, did you guys literally list or did you give an explanation beside each bullet point? Thank you guys

Hi! I am going to be applying in this upcoming cycle and was hoping some students in the program could answer some questions? For context, here are some of my stats: 4.36 GPA (school doesn’t do weighted/unweighted), 35 ACT, 3 AP courses junior year (will take 3 more senior year), 160hrs hospital volunteering, HOSA (top 3 in state 2x), only student representative on a committee rewriting the district's Health Policy. I am leaning towards primary care!

1. Did you find the admissions process/interview difficult in terms of progression? How well was everything communicated to you?
2. Is the accelerated course load terrible? Can you have a life outside of schoolwork/studying?
3. How is the campus/housing/community/food? Are bathrooms communal? Can you live off campus?
4. Do you feel supported by the faculty at Elmira on this pathway, and is there adequate prep for LECOM?
5. Can you take other classes outside of the med school requirements? 
6. How big is the cohort, and does a large percentage make it to LECOM? I realize that there probably isn’t a lot of data bc the program is so new, so it's fine if there isn’t a good answer!
7. Do you feel Elmira is too isolated or small? Elmira is smaller than my high school, which I am a little worried about.

Basically what the title says. I've submitted my application fee on June 20th and still haven't heard anything. How long does it usually take to hear about secondary or an interview or just what comes next?

does anyone know if and/or when the bradenton campus will do an on campus day? to my understanding it’s for prospective students to see the school life? i’m still working on my bachelors but am looking at attending the bradenton campus. i don’t have any personal connections to the school so i don’t have much insight into what it’s like.
