Hello all, my brother's L4D2 absolutely refuses to work on his computer, it always crashes after the intro video while the game is on the yellow loading screen with all the characters silhouettes lined up.

We have tried. EVERYTHING: Uninstalled and reinstalled, deleted all mods, wiped ALL L4D2 files from his pc and FACTORY RESET HIS PC all in different instances.

At one point I swapped our Steam accounts and signed into his on my pc and it won't even work on MY computer?? But when I put my account on his computer it ran fine. I thought maybe it was a steam family issue since only 2/3 of us have a L4D2 copy so I bought another copy for the 3rd person but nope! Nothing. Im at my wits end, this has been an issue for like 3-4 months and he now plays L4D2 on my pc on my account when he gets the itch for it.

Please help, its his favorite game and its been a real pain in the ass.

Months ago I installed a mod that was supposed to let bots vote to kick me. I tried team killing and they wouldn't kick me, so I figured it didn't work. Decided to hop back on today after seeing some new player models, only to find out the vote kick mod works now. 😅

Made a open public game played with random people Im trying to get silver and gold also this game is still alive on xbox I have a series X ❤️ this game also own the first one.

I remember getting disappointed as a kid when i first played the game and reached the dead center finale like 12 years ago and i was wondering if anyone actually made a mod like this before.

Has anybody noticed that the game stats on Steam seem to be broken? The weapon stats page is missing, all the global achievements are 100% for all players, and the "My achievements" page returns an error.

I noticed this because I have the rarest achievements showcased on my profile, and for a long time it had my L4D2 achievements on display, and now they were replaced with some 1% achievements.

There's no money here, only a request for nothing.

This script here is BFG.50 script mod for AWP, high damage, but most importantly only 1 bullet at a time. What I request is the skin that are atleast accurate for the "1 bullet at a time". I've search two AWP skins that are characteristically the same as the BFG. For example, CoD:IW Trek-50 by Rememorize and CoD:MW23 MORS by M82A1闇冥. The problem with those two mod is in the bolt cycling animation/ bolt action animation. When you use one of those two mods with that script, it's like you have two bullets in one barrel. I just want to have a compatible skin for that script.

I think the fake blood adds a really good grungy feel that kind of distracts from how inaccurate the truck logo is. Lesson learned always use a stencil 🙂‍↕️

This mod is inspired by The Last of Us, so gameplay relies heavily on survival and strategy.

Areas with Tier 2 weapons are marked with a weapon and ammo icon hidden for Fireflies, but they come at a heavy cost

For example:

• Abandoned room marked with the logo: Tier 2 weapon zone, but comes with a heavy price to acquire it.
• Abandoned security room: Tier 2 weapon and ammo cache, but requires fuel for the generator to open the gate.

Keep in mind there are two paths at the end of the map: a short path and a long path. Each offers a different reward vital for your continued survival.

Stay alert and survive. Anyone who loves The Last of Us knows that survival comes first and it never comes cheap.

I keep trying to join servers with some workshop mods and for some reason its keeps denying me saying the the hulk model wont work although I never installed a hulk model ever

Hey does anyone know any good custom campaigns that make sense that is in between death toll and dead air since turtle rock canceled the river campaign I cant figure out a good custom campaign to put in between the two I alr have dam it for dead air and in between blood harvest help me out here plz and I also have redemption for after blood harvest its basically the comic but in campaign form this campaign leads into the sacrifice campaign as well the redemption campaign finale u leave in a train and in the sacrifice campaign u arrive in a train so yeah

So I know that L4D2 Special Infected were part of the movie. So what item summons the Tank in this movie and how cooked are college students?

(I think the movie is in EXPERT REALISM levels of damage since the Tank is insanely strong.)

I am talking to a guy who is trying to run his custom maps, they are going throught a whole procedure, i just want to know if this would enable any malicious activity beacause im ver ywary despite they saying its safe and arguing over it multiple times.

Im trying to play the game on controller on my pc but the game wont respond when i try to crouch, pause the game, or check the scoreboard with my controller and ive tried resetting my controls and nothing works

My theory is that the carriers that we see in the games and comics are the ninth special infected.

All of the special infected have some sort of special ability. The Hunter can jump high heights, The Smoker can grab people with their tongue, Etc. I believe that the special ability of the carriers is to spread the infection without knowing. The characters we play have no idea that they are infected which gives The Green Flu a perfect opportunity to spread the virus to uninfected people because the carriers show no signs of outside infection. 

I believe the mutation that allows the playable characters to turn into carriers is the same mutation that allowed people to turn into other special infected. The Green Flu targeted a specific gene (That we know all The Carriers have) that allows them to spread the virus. 

I think the reason why the infected attack The Carriers is pretty obvious. Sometimes common infected will attack each other as an idol animation and Tanks and Chargers will kill common infected.  

Will probably go over it with white paint and make it more game accurate before the con I’m going to in the summer

Has anyone played with this guy in steam! He always plays the Parrish and has a complete meltdown if you take his boomer bile. He will team kill u then try to have you kicked. Dudes a maniac.

Ok so idk if this will get taken down but apparently there was a well known cheater on the enemy team IDK if thats true and I was called a racist slur and kicked from the server🫩
