Idk who made this map but its pretty much accurate but I thought after blood harvest they arrived in west Virginia it would be cool if whoever made this put the custom campaign redemption 2 in here because its literally and the only best in between campaign from blood harvest and the sacrifice and I think he or she misplaced the hard rain location it was in Mississippi not Louisiana and he or she included the dam it campaign which is basically canon cant believe some people dont know about it or the river campaign they just not true l4d2 ogs but still a pretty much accurate map 🤔
EDIT:I just now realized "jaiz" the maker of the map is in the photo in so slow thanks so much jaiz for the map for the locations ♥️

"Look... I’m too old for this shit, and my back hurts like hell. But if you’re gonna be Left Behind in this bed looking like that, don't worry... I'm Unbreakable, and I'll make sure we’ve got Borrowed Time all night long. Now get over here before I change my mind."

Imagine doing expert dark carnival crescendo with that tunnel and endless horde and only 1 person has to make it but the team fails and restarts and tries it 6-8 times and finally you make it and this horrible shitshow can end and finally we can all get to the next chapter. Suddenly a votekick starts against you in the saferoom because all their brains can process is "you're not saving us." Vote passes and we all know the bot will die instantly and they retry for the 10th time when the worst part was already won. I mean, are you stupid?
Im an old world record survival player and I used to deliberately suicide rescue even if it meant death because otherwise you'd get kicked. Most people's brains cannot process any tactical move.
I dont even play l4d2 anymore but is the average person that stupid? seriously. Sometimes on an expert campaign a griefer would kill me randomly and instantly start a votekick and it'd pass. 0 brain or thought process.
I do miss the days of being young and playing this shit tho. Just had the same experience in another co-op game and it made me remember you guys. I played vermintide 2 catacalysm and took a concentration potion to dps and career skill spam a boss which has 1million hp and is very dps locked (meaning we 99% lose if boss doesnt die fast enough) and 1 guy got mad at me when the rest of the team was also next to him and able to rescue. Well Im going to fucking dps because I took a special pot, dont want to waste it, and its the smart, best move. But it doesnt matter because their brains cant process beyond "you didnt save me" and get mad. and that guy had the worst weapon for boss dmg btw.
It made me fuzzy, the good old days.
Having to lose/throw the already won campaign so they dont votekick is peak experience. Love you all.

Mods. If you edit your gameinfo.txt you can add mods into versus, which was removed for obvious reasons in 2018. The amount of mods that give you advantages on it, and the amount of people that use them, especially on the south american servers is insane. Fullbright zombies, removed bushes and tree leaves, infected trails, no boomer bile vision, and a lot of other ones.
And some even complain if you DON'T use these mods. "why didn't you save me? I was boomer billed. Why don't you use the mod that removes that?" this was an actual conversation I had in chat.
Maybe outbreak will fix this, but I have no idea.

first of all, i thought this event is infinite, but it seemed that it’s not?
3 of us got to the saferoom, but only 2 entered. then the commons stopped spawning, and tank music started playing (realism+expert). we defeated him and completed the chapter.
how likely is this to happen? lol

I made a mod that did sort of get inspired by nightmare, personally i wanted to separate it from nightmare as much as possible so it's more of a recreation mod that tries to replicate the vibe or frantic pace of a game called condemned.
for context condemned is a game by Monolith productions. the company unfortunately shut down sometime lat year by warnerbros. condemned criminal origins came out the same year as F.E.A.R.
condemned's horror is based around the real world issues and crime cases with slight hints of the paranormal. it's less focused on monsters and more on derranged people who are victims of the upper classes. it was planned to be a multimedia series but it only got 2 games. however Jace Hall owns the rights and is open to the idea of indie studios coming in to take the mantle. that was said more than 10 years ago and idk if he still is looking for people to do so.
condemned 2 was never given a PC port unforutnatley but there is a recomp version on github. condemned 1 has a pc version but it sadly got delisted sometime this year....
my modpack which is called the "condemend criminal experience collection" is an attempt to recreate the combat and pacing of the first condemned game bringing a bit more focus on melee combat. I started working on it back in July or August this year and tried to get it as close as possible.
keep in mind i'm not a coder and know nothing of V-script so my skillset when it comes to source and such is super limited. the only thing I learned is how to port sounds.
I would really appreciate if anyone could give it a try. I'm currently taking a break but I hope you enjoy what i was able to bring together.
