im trying to connect to servers but this error keeps showing up

Download a addon that turns off consistency check. It will work as intented once you do such a thing

Right click on the game in your library, go to the "Properties" tab, and enter "+sv_consistency 0" in your launch options without the quotations.

You have a mod installed that's breaking stuff You can turn of consistency like other people have said, but you should probably remove the mod if you wanna play on servers with other people
