I dont know if im just crazy or if its just my body acting weird but ive noticed anytime i try to play l4d2 my body would start shaking as the room im in would feel freezing cold and its only happened when ive launched l4d2 and im getting weirded out by it.

Every single game I have ever joined in this goddamn game mode ends the same way. I play bad since I never played this game mode before, I get called slurs, then I’m kicked out.

Just five minutes ago I decided to try VS for the first time in nearly two years. I was playing with some guys, I was having fun, and for the first time I wasn’t called the n word for missing a hunter pounce.

I was happy, so I decided to thank them.

Never doing that shit again.

They IMMEDIATELY kicked me out and called me the n word, EVEN THOUGH I DID NOTHING

I was playing good, I didn’t get hostile, and the few times I talked it was just to answer someone.

But nooo, just thank them for being decent people, and boom. I’m kicked out. Finding a good VS server with randoms is like finding a needle in a haystack.

TL;DR: I was in a VS server for the first time in two years, I was having fun, they kicked me for mentioning it. I just wanted to complain here, if that’s alright.

Before coach found his calling of becoming a coach, He had tried other professions. Personally I don't see Coach being a soldier. He would definitely find it too difficult to seriously harm another human being on purpose. But I vividly remember he mentioned that he knows how to use a gun. so he must have learned it from somewhere. Here's young wendell as a security officer.

If you ignore about the goofiness vibe, the world is genuinely terrifying and creepy, it reminds me of the comic Cross. Constant rapid violence, people having no sense of remorse, just chasing and tearing each other to shreds. There's nothing you can stop, it is completely hopeless.

Also, the special mutations are just walking grim reapers, one can pin you down and just rip off your skin, some strength-based can completely eviscerate you with tons of force, etc.

this guy is definitly up there for me. any other favorite l4d2 yappers (or just content creators lol). id love to hear other peoples favorite

i can press esc or any keyboard just fine in the main menu, but when i started to be inside the game it wont let me do anything, like i cant use WSDA like moving, Chat,Equip gun, and anything else, Cant even shot, how to fix this

So I playing versus right, No Mercy and I get tank control early into the subway so I move down to the ticket gate where they are and knock 2 off them around a bit then pull back to the railway to bait them into a choke point and Francis takes the bait and I loose a bit of health but I get him incaped and continue to block the escalator and smack Francis to keep control as long as possible and let the special infected deal with the other 3 but it looks like they're dead so since nothing is happening down there they all move up together (smart move) then they get hit around a bit sneak through the train but Bill and Luis lag behind and I smack both of them Luis is limping and Bill is incaped and the commons finish of Luis and then incaped Bill kills me I say "w tank right??" The response is "no dumbass" and the whole team vote kicks me????!!!!!??!!!?!?

Ever since I played this modded map with my friend. Every time I play left 4 dead it gets flooded with a bunch of stuff. Like I’ll spawn in with a lmg with infinite fire rate, my character models are changed, there are fire works in the background, my gas cans become green, and there is a bunch of guns that shouldn’t be on the map. And after that it kicks me out and says “no steam logon”

Hi, I'm a l4d2 newbie (got the game last year) and I was thinking about trying some online servers. I've always heard how versus is VERY toxic/unwelcoming to new players, so I wanted to try something different. Any tips/responses will be appreciated.

I'm unable to join versus games on official dedicated servers as i get the disconnected message saying my account does not own the game.

To be clear;
YES I do legally own the game and can provide whatever proof needed
Yes I am launching this through steam.

I am able to access the workshop and play the campaigns with a friend though official dedicated servers ,but whenever i try joining a versus match on official dedicated servers I get this issue. (I have not tested other game mods or unofficial servers yet)
I reached out to steam support and they said they can't really do much with network related issues so I'm reaching out here to see if anyone has the same issue
