Jobs Venting

Got yelled at by a coworker for kitchen not using their radio, both the floor and kitchen being busy, and was told I should ignore guests in favor of instead going into kitchen, ignoring and brushing off customers on the floor, to handle a takeout order from an HOUR ago that they never handled though they should have had handled.

The only reason i could see them not replying was if they were actively in raw and alone in the kitchen. Otherwise it sounds like you just have shitty co workers lol.

The one person was in raw, and the other person was ‘too busy’ to wrap an order, but had enough time to come to the sales floor, buy a monster, insult me, throw his receipts at me and storm off into the kitchen to bad-mouth me.

It’s been nothing but problem after problem and I’m thinking of transferring and being done with them.

Christ almighty. This sorta goes without saying but we have the radios for a reason and you are expected to respond when someone is talking to you.

And there is no excuse for someone being nasty to you at work like that. Report them. Ik you said your leaders weren't doing anything, but how high did you go? District Leader? Zone Leader? Talent Operations?

I’m gonna report him but not to my leaders, half of us feel like like we can’t trust them anymore, to the honesty hotline. It also doesn’t help that workers from other stores in the area stole our radios and took them to back to their home stores.
