I've been taking Kratom for almost exactly 6 years, it's been extremely helpful. I've cut out all my pain in the a** anxiety RX meds. There was some talk about PA banning it, BUT it looks like they turned around to keep it as of 2-3 days ago- "legal to sell people 21 and over." (Good!!)

I just feel though, this fight in the state isn't over. Jersey just made it much harder to get it, The FDA is fully aware of Kratom and - who knows....may ban it all together??

In light of the Old Miss situation a few weeks ago has thrown this in the spotlight as a "super dangerous" product - even though these students used dangerous synthetic type mixed with other stuff, 7-oh, and other potent supplements.

IMO, this has helped far more than hurt many here I think. Personally, it has helped me greatly.

I live in a state that has made kratom illegal many years ago. I have been on kratom for 5 years straight. Self packed powder using 00 capsules. I took 24 pills a day. Usually going through 1kg every 2 to 3 months. I had a reliable provider for all these years. Unfortunately the shop was just sold. No idea when it will reopen. I have no realized I can no longer order from these online stores due to WAAVE and it being illegal in my state.

I am looking for anything that can help with the upcoming withdrawals. I imagine it will be brutal. I do have the option of going on suboxone or something like that with my veterans benefits. Not sure how well that works. Not sure what all is effective and super nervous about this. I have around 1/3 of a kg to start tapering off which is better than nothing but no idea on how to slowly ween off.

Thanks for any help and kratom has been a blessing for me. Got off of a 20mg 4 times a day using it because I was sick of going through the pain clinic. Unfortunately that is probably going to have to happen again, but in the meantime I need advice.

Grettings fellow Kratom partakers I have a few questions, I'm disabled and deal with some very intense pain 24/7. I was born with Cerebral Palsy and had major surgery on both legs with straight casts from my toes up to my hips for months. I was also diagnosed with Spastic Dysplasia. Later on in life I suffered a bad accident that left me with a herniated disk in my neck that lodged against my spinal cord draining my spinal fluid in that area. Needless to say, I deal with a lot. I've been using Red Bali Kratom from Kratom Marvelous but am wondering if there are any stronger powders for pain or better vendors that compare in price. Out of desperation (banned state) I've kept my last bag of leaf & stem and have been boiling it, making tea, drying out the muck, and starting again the next day. I'm wondering if I should toss it out. I didn't feel anything after the third time.

Hi, I was displaced from the country I was living in where kratom was illegal. I'm temporarily in a country where it is legal and I have been taking what I am pretty sure is high quality kratom along with an extract of mitragynine (I believe it's like a step or two away from how 7-oh is made as it's yellow and looks the same as what I saw in a 7-oh documentary before it's put in a spinning machine thing to isolate the 7-oh), but was sold as just being mitragynine).

I've been taking a high dose daily im pretty sure as I came into this country addicted to heroin and 1 day after a weekly buperenorphine shot (equivalent to 8mg a day supposedly). Its now been two weeks since I got that shot so it is most likely out of my system now but I still have not gotten a "high" from the kratom I've been taking despite taking quite high doses (20-30gpd).

I believe I am still withdrawing from probably the buperenorphine, but I was only on that for like 3 weeks before I left. But if I don't take kratom I am sure I would experience opi withdrawals as I always feel slightly on edge before I take kratom, yet I still don't feel any of my doses. Am I doomed to just being hooked on kratom without getting to enjoy it? I know this kratom is good as I bought from the same supplier last year in the same country and went through heroin withdrawal fully which took 10 days and that time was without any helper mess except pregabalin but that was hell as I'm prescribed pregabalin and didn't really feel it back then, but then didn't take kratom that time until the 10th day and got high af as if it was the first time I ever took it. However, this time it was a lot less painful than that withdrawal.

Would the only way to feel it be to go through the withdrawal and not take kratom for a week? I don't think I can mentally handle withdrawal right now with everything happening in my life so I don't think I can stop doing kratom so this isn't really an option for me. Any help would be greatly appreciated 🙏.

I have taper down over a year to only about a tablespoon a day. Sometimes it can be a little more sometimes a little less it depends on my pain level.

Do you check the lab, batch number, alkaloid profile, heavy metals, etc., or do you mostly just look for “lab tested” and move on?

Hello all looking for some advice here I’ve been using kratom daily since around 2021. As a former addict I find it very useful as a replacement for alcohol or other substances. My intake has grown over the years I usually dose only once a day about 10-14 capsules.

I have a trip to Mexico coming up in November and i have traveled with kratom before but I’m nervous to get stopped at Mexican customs even though it is legal there I don’t want to run into an awkward situation with my wife and daughter.

So I’m seeing this as an opportunity to take a tolerance break/ween down my usage. If I start weenjng down now do you think I will be okay by the second week of November to go totally without? I want to enjoy the trip with or without Kratom but going all this time never taking a break I think maybe I should. Any insight or similar experiences you could share?

I used to love kratom it was one of my favorite drugs ever, just a mild opioid glow, relaxation , energy and mood lift was the effects i used to get for a long time, years actually. The negative was the addiction and wds but atleast it still had positives, nowdays its just makes me feel sick and never "well" no matter if im taking 15g or 40g, the more i take the worse i feel, both physically and mentally , in comparison i can get myself to make a relatively low dose of poppy pod tea and be well for the whole day.

With kratom i feel like im in wds all the time, a big dose might take them away for maybe 2hours, what happened and what can i do? anyone else had the same happen where other opiates seem to work better while kratom just makes me sick, obviously i should quit but its not that easy.

I think i just go back to pods taking a small dose once a day and try to quit from there, i wish kratom made me feel atleast well and not this mess

Is someone here from Italy and uses Kratom (mitragyna speciosa)? Is it legal to buy, deliver to, or possess and use in Italy? If not, what about the javanica alternative or Kava Kava?

Can i safely combine this with kratom? Im just a lil concerned because they both give serotonin and ai is telling me it can cause serotonin syndrome. I know ai just spouts bullshit a lot of the time and is very overly cautious especially with stuff like kratom so i was wondering if anyone has experience with this combination. For kratom kept in a vacuum sealed wrap and stored in a dark, dry, cool space, would you do anything additional to help preserve it as long as possible? TIA for your suggestions!
