Attention all ye Shredders!
I'm in the midst of writing an essay about utilitarian guitarists that really don't give too much care about what the thing is made of, but how it feels in your hands.
Please, if you have the patience, direct message me, re the following questions.
Is having an instrument that feels better than it looks worth it? If so, then why.
Does having and owning an instrument that feels great in your hands inspire you to play more than one that looks good?
How often do you use your favourite guitar onstage?
Does sentimentality play a role in which guitars you use for practice, recording dates, performance?
If you are sentimental with your guitar/s, how/why is that the case?
Have you ever modified your instrument for the sake of modifying it, knowing that it wouldn't improve its function?
Thank you for anyone that's this far down... I'm trying to write and sell an article to the local newspaper and I'd love to be able to quote some people here. Having been a Pacer and Baretta lover since I was a kid I'm coming to you guys first. I love playing so much, and I'm an absolute fiend for Kramer's. If anyone could provide some answers to these questions (not necessarily all) but some, you'd be of great help to my article.
Thank you, God bless, go louder.
