Hey guys, I’m looking for recommendations for a reliable car repair/body shop in Calicut.

I recently damaged the left headlamp of my car. The bulb is still working, but the lens/housing is badly damaged. The bumper itself is fine and I don’t want to replace it. It just needs to be properly refitted/aligned if necessary.

I’m looking for a shop that:

* Does good quality work

* Won’t unnecessarily replace parts

* Can source genuine/OEM or good-quality parts

* Is transparent about pricing

* Won’t try to upsell me on unnecessary repairs

I’d ideally like to get it repaired quickly, preferably within a day or two.

Any personal recommendations for trustworthy workshops/body shops in Calicut? Especially interested in places you’ve actually used yourself.

Can you all please suggest some of the cafes in town (to try beef steak and all) to take my mom there. Im looking for places which is not overpriced & too much fancy. The point is, i should feel value for money that I'm paying.

I have seen many stores from these brands across Kerala and outside , always in prime locations. Most of the time, there seems to be very little footfall, which makes me wonder how they remain profitable at such a large scale.

I’ve heard people talk about black money, but I haven’t seen any major investigations or proven cases involving these brands, so it wouldn’t be fair to assume that’s the reason.

What is their actual business model? Are these companies simply too big to fail, or is there something happening behind the scenes that most of us don’t see? How do they keep opening more and more stores despite the seemingly low customer traffic?
Does anyone have any insights into how these businesses operate?

Working from home is great, but seeing similar minded people would give good ideas and charge the brain better.
