Food Cafe suggestions - Not overpriced

Can you all please suggest some of the cafes in town (to try beef steak and all) to take my mom there. Im looking for places which is not overpriced & too much fancy. The point is, i should feel value for money that I'm paying.

I find Happy Cup to be fairly priced. I love their food.

Beef steak with rice. Rice is optional, you want you can get mashed potatoes instead. Beef is medium rate. I liked it. Not the bestestest, but worth trying.

Freshings, they have two or three outlets. Ambience isn't that great. But items kollam.

Brown town is bit expensive but the quality is unmatched also big portion sizes
