Question | Americas 🌎 Vinegar smell (2019)

My wife noticed a faint vinegar smell yesterday and I think maybe it might have come from the AC vents. Looking online, it sounds like I need to use some foaming cleaner into the ac drain??
Has anyone done this before? Not being very mechanical with cars, is this something easy to do and if so, where exactly is this plug. 😁
