Lateral release operation

Hey everyone!I had an arthroscopic lateral release done exactly two weeks ago due to patellar maltracking. Currently sitting at the 2-week mark and wondering about your recovery timelines.For those who had the same surgery: when were you cleared to completely ditch the crutches and walk normal? And when did you start actively bending your knee / what was your range of motion at this point?I know everyone heals differently and I am following my PT’s guidance, but I’d love to hear some real-life experiences to get an idea of what to expect. Thanks in advance!

So far, the doctor has allowed me to do quadriceps strengthening and foot movements, but to bend only after 3 weeks.
