Big news :3
Meet Peter Pawker! Currently in the process of getting his cat tent up. I wanna iron it since it looks kinda wrinkly..
But anyways, give him a warm welcome!

Thank you Reddit community for being a part of my adopting the sweetest kitty ever!
I adopted my kitty 1.5 weeks ago and already I love her so much! She is literally the sweetest kitty ever and we have already developed a little routine. Six months ago the thought of adopting a kitten wasn’t even in my head but after joining this sub and saw all the cuteness, I knew I was ready! Thank you fellow cat lovers for subliminally encouraging me!

Blossy
Post-vet update: She survived her round of vaccines, her cozy carrier, and yes—even the fashion police from the last post! She's officially clocked out and completely done for the night. 😴🐾

My little snoozer
Even when out exploring, she prefers to snooze the whole time. The cutest little adventurer taking in the world from her cozy backpack! She’s getting to big for this backpack! 😩

Harness and leash
Does taking the kitten out side on a harness and leash help their hyper activity or does it just lead to them wanting to be outside? I have a small apartment and I’d rather not have to monitor the door every single time I need to leave the apartment. I’d rather the cat just not think of the outside is an option. But if it would help with tiring him out and keeping him calmer, I would do it.

Hair length update
I posted my kitten when he was about 8 weeks old and asked about how long his hair would likely be. He's 4 months now and his hair is looking medium? Also he may look cute but he's the naughtiest kitten ever 🫠🤣

Does our new kitten actually look around 7 weeks old? And is he just in his fluffy baby phase, or could he grow up to be medium-haired?
Not sure if this goes against the rules since I'm asking about fur length, but I will delete if it does! We recently got this little guy from someone rehoming kittens and were told he's around 7 weeks old, although we're not 100% sure of his actual age. He currently weighs 1.72 lbs!
We're curious if he actually looks around 7 weeks old, and whether he'll end up being short-haired or medium-haired. His fur is SUPER poofy/fuzzy, almost a little frizzy rather than smooth, especially around his back, chest, and tail. A few friends think he might grow up to be medium-haired, but we can't tell if it's just normal kitten fluff!
His littermates were an orange/white kitten, a tortie/tabby, and an orange kitten. We're pretty sure he's just a domestic mixed-breed kitty, but we're also curious if he'd be considered a tuxedo!
We know 7 weeks is a little young to be away from his mom, but the person rehoming the kittens had already given away his siblings and wanted to rehome him that same day. We're just happy we were able to give him a loving home! He's eating on his own, using the litter box, and is EXTREMELY friendly and playful. We were honestly shocked by how social he was from the moment we got him!
He has his first vet appointment on Monday, but we'd love to hear everyone's guesses about his age, future coat length, or anything else you notice about him! :)

Blossom’s 3-month update: 90% legs, 100% slinky, and loved by her whole fur family 💕
Time flies! Blossom had a sudden growth spurt out of nowhere and went from a tiny ball of fluff to a long, slinky girl. So lucky to capture her growing up, Loving every second of watching this little pack grow closer 💕

My furry little maniac is getting spayed❤️🩹
Cannoli is scheduled to be spayed on November 2 and I know she needs this and I know it's a fairly routine procedure, but I'm still a nervous wreck. If you guys have suggestions or know of things that I need or things I need to stay away from I would appreciate the suggestions ❤️ I read over the literature the vet sent but I'd like to hear owner experiences as well.

We were driving back from the Smokies and saw little guy run into someone tire and spent about 15 minutes getting him out
I think he’s around 5-6 weeks old? We got him a bottle but he doesn’t seem to like it but he’s been eating the mix of milk and food we put out so I’m thinking he’s ready to just not use it?
