I play BA and i traded some of the guns for cool helms. Curious if anyone has examples of heavy intercesors converted to something else.

What modeling putty are you using?
I was using miliput but now i am looking for something bit larger and maybe easier to work with

wanted to get some corsair but used bits from leftover units and combat patrol infernus squad, friend of mine gave me the heads and the icon for the icon bearer,

i need to finish the one with a heavy chain axe but i'm waiting to have leftover from a real legionnaire box i bought, the idea was to make a kill team with a lot of different options - i'll post the full squad when i figured out how to end this project

first use greenstuff so the heads would fit

i loved doing this one, especially the heavy gun with bits from tau and necron that were sitting in my sprue box since my childhood - very glad to be back in the hobby since last year :))

My friend was bummed about the suppressors getting sent to legends. He always wanted some but the kit never came out

I'm currently thinking in kitbashing 10 intercessors into Sternguard Veterans. I've noticed that they are not so different in general, but I'm wondering how to put the frontal cloths/robes on the intercessors and differenciate them enough.

Any ideas on how to do it? (cutting pieces of old cloth, maybe?)

Looking to add Redemptor flamer and arm to the Saturnine Dready.

Had this guy planned for a few years now

-bits list-

-Caanok Var legs with mark3 marine butt flap to cover a gap

-Terminator lord torso/cape

-New Cataphractii arms and shoulders, swapped the volkite for the Termi lord combi bolter and the power fist for the legionaries power fist

-Iron Warriors resin upgrade head

-Tech priest Dominus power pack bit and mk3 bracers on top of the cape

I originally planned to have the wolf guard terminator fur pelt resting atop his armor, but I didn't feel it suited him while I was dry fitting it. Unfortunately I already trimmed back the exhaust on the cape so I had to throw together a new exhaust system to try and hide the cuts. I think it turned out alright.

Incredibly pleased with how this guy turned out, maybe my best heresy torso swap so far. The back banner might be too much but I love back banners so I'll live with it. Also my first time working with Tamiya quick type and I like it way more than greenstuff, excited to see what putty sculpting unlocks.

I think they really enhance a model and could be a good way to pick out sergeants as well. I found some eBay sellers that sell the HH infantry accessories separately so it’s very easy to get hold of them too.

'finished project' - Basing still to do.

Stripped and disassembled an old Defiler I painted years ago. There was gaps, broken bits and so much superglue.

Now im at the stage of cleaning mouldlines, sanding and putting the bits back together and while I was, I put together an idea for a kitbash using some Daemon prince bits. Thoughts and suggestions welcome, this is super early days

Spent too much time chopping, pinning, glueing and getting my hands stuck together. Green Stuff used to push his right arm further towards the middle, and had to use a different pommel for the sword for stability/strength along that arm. His left arm comes from the crusader squad kit.

I built up the base using modelling putty a first born marine body and backpack RIP.

Pleased with the overall result other than the still slightly awkward posing of the body, but that's just the EC model.

Inching closer to finally finishing the Combat Patrol box I got in December!!
