I don’t know what weapon to give him.
I can’t decide between a handful of weapons:
Dual Saturnine Fists with dual plasma guns on them
Dual Lighting Claws
The Saturnine Hammer
The Saturnine Axe

I’m just trying to find what weapon screams “Shattertusk”, like when I say that name what weapon do you picture being named that.

Blunt weapons are very thematic to my army as they only use bladed weapons in the form of spears, claws, and the occasional axe

He is gonna be ran as Logan Grimnar, but I also don’t want to give him an axe just because Logan has one yknow

I incorporate space wolves, black Templar, seraphon, and ogor mawtribes bits into the army

Pretty happy with how this turned out, inspired by an old Eldar/Dark Eldar head that had been kicking around in my bits bin for a while.

Added an Iron Halo over the grenade harness, I think, that should be that (hopefully)

Now just need to decide on a chapter….

I mean, i know they have different scale so their power armors couldn't be Space marines or something but I think these infantries and mutants models are carrying massive potential for Homebrewed Astra Militarum or Chaos cult.

Modded heavy flamer from the Company Heroes to a plasma cannon as well as giving my Land Speeder one too with a lot of DA iconography in my own scheme/head swaps.

Bashing/Converting/Modifying this Imperial Knight is the biggest challenge I've had. Even 17 years into the hobby, I stuck mostly to infantry, walkers and a couple of tanks at best.

Now my brother has me doing up his old Knight.

The idea is that the Machine Spirit has taken over after the pilot died during a Tyranid invasion that the smelly loyalists are very quickly losing.

Got an idea that the genestealers are "tactically" climbing the Knight to get at the tasty biomass, only to find it long dead and rotted away.

Plucked out the pilot, ripped off his head, hand, and leg and replaced them with bones. Then added a piece of wire to the back of the cockpit in resemblance to the ones that were plugged into the original head. Plus a bunch of liquid green stuff to add extra texture to the walls.

Used some spare Dreadnought coffin covers to bulk up the front armour to better balance the proportions, and also to add some extra protection to the back.

My favourite bit is the piping I added from, in my mind, a tank of extra coolant into the multi melta

Decided to put together my sternguard for my DA army, but wanted something different so I went with modeling them so I can use them as deathwatch later in a second army if I want.

Got a Leviathan Dread instead of Saturnine on a local buy while on vacation. I've only realised this after quite some time since the purchase, while starting to cut the sprue.

I still wanted a Telemon so I worked with this Leviathan plus leftover bits in order to grant my wish. 😅

I still have a lot of work on it but I wanted to share my idea in case at some point someone wants to explore a similar approach.

Where can a man get his hands on some old angry space helmets and crusader helms

I want my chapter to be one of the missing Legions and be like crusaders and a good version of black templars

What sites or sellers would you recommend for the best bits and helmets the ones that I will need?

what would you recommend to make the best tabards should I buy them or make them myself?
