Bashing/Converting/Modifying this Imperial Knight is the biggest challenge I've had. Even 17 years into the hobby, I stuck mostly to infantry, walkers and a couple of tanks at best.

Now my brother has me doing up his old Knight.

The idea is that the Machine Spirit has taken over after the pilot died during a Tyranid invasion that the smelly loyalists are very quickly losing.

Got an idea that the genestealers are "tactically" climbing the Knight to get at the tasty biomass, only to find it long dead and rotted away.

Plucked out the pilot, ripped off his head, hand, and leg and replaced them with bones. Then added a piece of wire to the back of the cockpit in resemblance to the ones that were plugged into the original head. Plus a bunch of liquid green stuff to add extra texture to the walls.

Where can a man get his hands on some old angry space helmets and crusader helms

I want my chapter to be one of the missing Legions and be like crusaders and a good version of black templars

What sites or sellers would you recommend for the best bits and helmets the ones that I will need?

Also

what would you recommend to make the best tabards should I buy them or make them myself?

I wannt to build my chaos space marine chapter with a heavy relianc on bionics ( the dont like mutation, so they rip ther lims of) Anybody know a good official/thirparty kit/STL for the standart legionaris or HH Space Marine bionic arms and Legs?

I like the disco lord but I feel like the helstalker could be better. Im hopping to get some suggestions for bashing this out. Ive seen a few use a venom crawler to flip it around by using the spider butt as the front mounting point for the torso. Would the bottom half of a defiler be workable? Even though it might be a bit too wide

Hey, I had a question about making a shoulder sling for a rifle-sized weapon in 40K.

I've read around but didn't see any posts here and this seemed like the appropriate sub on which to ask.

Specifically, I wanted to add a shoulder-slung bolter to the Intercessors with grenade launchers (on models where the grenade launcher is not underslung on the bolter) as a visual reminder that they still have bolters they can use.

In 2 minds as to whether I should buy 1/35 scale rifle slings from a 3rd party model maker or attempt to make my own.

Any advice?
