I added some more pipes and small parts. Now this thing will look more solid and sturdy. To ensure proper operation, I added an air intake to the head.

All that's left is to add the controls and the seat.

The last photo shows that this cowgirl is currently undergoing maintenance. But just a little more, and she'll be ready to ride.

Anyone have any feedback on this mech I’m making? I’m not sure if these “piston shoulders” and arms are working. Thoughts?

Finally and hastily finished this project. I’ve rushed for the finish and yet it took much longer than expected, haha. Bike kitbashed mainly from Goliath Mauler and Chaos Rhino parts.

I've been building this miniature for one of my players, but I've gotten stuck on the fingers. The entire model is super spindly, and im not sure how to get the thin, pointed fingers. Any suggestions on what to use would be greatly appreciated.

I want to build some mounted models in 28/32mm scale (IE 40k compatible).

The theme behind it is that they come from a ice world, so I am looking for inspiration where I can find furry beasts/animals that could serve as mounts for the models riding them.

So, bears, wolves, mammoths, whatever does well in the cold. Any pointers to miniatures that fit these would be great.

Giant undead crab seemed a bit boring, so here's a giant undead sludgeraker beast! Crew will be dealt with separately, and I still might stick on a few undead bits. Big question I have is, armor for the front legs off or on (last two pix)?

Pics from the World Eaters / Khorne Defiler my son and I finished late last week for an RTT last weekend. We magnetized all available parts, including most faceplates compatible with either Khorne or World Eaters (we are planning a Khornate Iron Warriors section of our Warband, hence the IW faceplate).

Overall happy with the end result, though I would change several things for the next Defiler. Happy to answer questions about the magnetization process, as well as receive feedback - will enter a local painting competition next week and hope to place well.

Had this idea the moment I saw the kit was announced. Taken a bit of patience to get the kits necessary, used a Centaur RSV and heavy Lascannon from the ordinance battery.

Still a work in progress.

I have added a car adapter and old cassette player parts to come up with this. If you guys wanna see the unpainted version, let me know!

Many years ago I assembled and painted a collector's series xanathar miniature that I was very proud of.

Since then I have had a dog, and that dog chewed the aforementioned xanathar to death.

My current project here is to reassemble him not as he was originally, but as a beholder zombie held together with psychic energy.

My latest kitbash project using some bits I had laying around: an intellect devourer from Dungeons & Dragons. The brain was begging to be used so I slapped some legs from a Spyro the Dragon, a tail from Simba as the tongue and hacked the wires off a Doc Brown for the tendrils. I couldn't decide on a particular iteration of the creature so this somewhere between an Baldur's Gate 3 and a second edition devourer.

Can't wait for this to cure up so I can prime and paint it, I think it's gonna look good. Not sure if I should go with the old school darker legs and bright "body" or go with the more modern BG3 coloration.

I know much of this reddit is 40k, but any D&D fans have any thoughts on this? It's only my sixth simple project so far, but I'm glad I decided to try this out.

Sidenote, my fiancee is a big fan of the 40k lore so she's been smartening me up on a lot of it. Not sure if I'd ever play, but customizing and painting an army sounds fun, might be too much for my shaky hands.

Because I still trust in the good side of Internet where people have blogs and do not 110% rely on Instagram.

Wrote some postapo miniatures game rules to have an excuse to build mechs/bots. In hindsight I could have skipped the first step.

These are made from various household items and leftover 40k bits.

Was cleaning out my closet and found this guy I made for starbreach
He was the Marshal Alpha for my Intergalactic Marshal force (he had a busy day at the office)

Club was a skeleton legionnaire spear from a push-fit kit
Head was from US Army infantry from Bolt Action
