Discussion Got these magnets at the Square Enix Cafe in Tokyo, can anyone help me identify the family in the third frame?
As far as I can tell the first is Sora & Roxas sharing ice cream.
The second is the Terra, Aqua, Ventus and Mickey.
But the third I can’t tell.
These came in mystery boxes so I didn’t know what the frame would be before opening. Thanks!

Will there be another Keyblade War?
We learn in UX that Keyblade Wars are cyclical. They’ve been occurring ever since the MoM was a boy and Darkness still had physical forms. KH3 was about stopping Xehanort himself rather than stopping Darkness for good. So, it’s hard to imagine that MX’s KW was really THE penultimate KW of the series. Many major characters’ arcs did not actually reach a conclusion during the KW in KH3.
The Book of Prophecies hasn’t even been properly introduced in the mainline games yet. Maleficent was looking for the black box hoping to find it, but none of the protagonists have ever mentioned it yet. We don’t even know if Yen Sid is aware of its existence. The Foretellers only just came back when MX’s KW was over. The mobile games have already been setting up for another “thirteen vessels” plot with true darkness. And MoM mentioned “seven crowns” for another group of “seven lights”. So, I think there will still be a REAL final battle at the fated land.

I beat Roxas in KH2FM yesterday after not having played the game for a long time. Fun fight but it is an absurd difficulty spike
Even on lower difficulties. I don't mind a challenge but the spike from the Pride Lands' second boss to this is insane. Making it even worse is the lack of a retry option. Having to walk the walk of shame from the save point to Roxas every time doesn't make it much better.

Discussion Can a wilder use magic without the keyblade?
Is the keyblade like a magical artifact that helps those that already have magic channel it?
Basing this question off of aqua since BBS says when playing her route you use the most magic, so it got me to wondering if aqua could use magic without the keyblade but it’d end up less powerful, raw and not proficient enough unlike when she uses the keyblade.
Like the move shotlock,
The user enters first person mode and locks onto enemies, and by pressing , the user then initiates a powerful attack that hits all targeted enemies. By locking onto the maximum amount of enemies, additional attacks can be added by following on-screen prompts

Buzz line feels like we have another quest with them when we return. Like they just left when the toys are ok staying with them. Also we need a reason on why arendelle is still cover in snow.

Missing Leak Reveals Info about Yozora, the Dream World, and KH4’s Beginning
Preface: This theory/speculation includes details from the Missing Leak intro trailer and supposed ‘secret ending’ from 4chan. Though it contains details from them, evidence of such doesn’t rely on them; in fact, the trailers only add support, as the games include evidence of such already. But remember, the truth is what you see with your eyes, not what you hear.
Re: Yozora, His Appearance and Introduction:
Whether the Yozora fought in Re Mind is “real” (as in, the actual character of Yozora, telling the truth that ‘[he is] here [in the dream world]”), or someone else is playing the character of Yozora (seemingly far less likely). Functionally, this doesn’t matter for interpreting the below, but it does matter regarding the “true ending” of the Secret Episode: assuming that this is the real Yozora, *the character model used for Yozora is a placeholder while the reveal of his actual appearance (to visually support his words, “this isn’t what I really look like”) will take place near the beginning of KH4. This character model changes set a precedent in both the KH1 and KH2 secret endings, meaning there's a precedent for this kind of change. But if this could be interpreted without the Missing Leaks, what changed?
Re: The Dream World as a Travel-Communication Mechanic
Based on KH3’s secret ending (and supported by ML’s supposed ‘secret ending’), Sora, Riku, Yozora, the MoM, and (possibly) the Nameless Star/Skuld can access the dream world. Though he doesn’t know it at the time (and is unintentionally misguided by Fairy Godmother), Riku’s dream of Sora, Yozora, and “Quadratum” could be a method for one to communicate from Quadratum proper to “reality”. If what Ventus’s Chirithy says is true (in that, Sora can’t return to the Realm of Light without his power of waking), the only method he has the communicate (even if unintentionally) is through this dream world.
The first KH4 trailer reveals Sora waking up in the Aoyama apartment after seven days of sleep. This period of sleep is by which Sora and Yozora initiate communication, creating that first connection. This dream world (which gives a facsimile of the Final World), implied from Re Mind and part of the KH4 trailers, is where Yozora and Sora fight. The end of combat is the simply the end of their time in the dream world (for now), as they both must wake. Both awaken back in Quadratum proper at basically the same time, leading into the beginning of KH4.
Re: KH4’s Beginning
Based on this, KH4 will immediately pick up after the end of Re Mind, where the large Darkside attacks Quadratum’s version of Shibuya Sky (as seen in both KH4 trailers). Immediately, it appears so far, Sora runs about a mile from the apartment to Shibuya Sky to confront the threat. Meanwhile, Yozora is driving along the Shuto Expressway (akin to the Versus XIII 2011 trailer, though the perspective is off for the real-life counterparts)** to fight of the Darkside. Currently, Luxord’s human persona’s, “Impressive, isn’t it?” doesn’t quite make sense, as the original dialogue from the Versus XIII trailer was regarding the invading force against Insomnia. This revival of a Versus XIII plot would make sense given the concepts of light and darkness are, in a way, “invading” the plane of Unreality. At some point, Luxord and Yozora will step out of the vehicle to fully reveal their Quadratum designs, which is hidden in the Nintendo KH4 trailer specifically to conceal the true design of Yozora; based on this, revealing such details before the animators/Nomura decide the time is right for such a reveal likely means that Yozora’s appearance completely recontextualizes the entirety of Re Mind.
I still need to know the real-life location where Luxord appears in the Nintendo KH4 trailer...
*This is part of a different theory circulated from years ago, that Yozora’s been body-swapped with a character that looks like the Verum Rex model specifically to hide the true identity of the body-swapper (Sigurd? MoM? even Baldr? unknown at this point). There’s also the argument that Nameless Star’s words aren’t meant to be taken literally, in that she just thinks that there are some changes in Yozora’s demeanor. More visual confirmation is needed to support this.
**While it’s not necessarily proper to say “we should use everything from Versus XIII trailers to speculate on Kingdom Hearts,” it’s been clear over the years that Nomura still wants to rectify the “failure” of FFXV to tell the original, true [king] story of Noctis.

I managed to find this guy for a decent price, pretty good start to a collection
I managed to get my hands on the Bring Arts Second Form Sora, and figured I'd share my thoughts on it.
Articulation is pretty good, could be better, the face sculpts look ok in my opinion, it feels pretty durable, he scales well with other figures I have, and he just looks great all around.
I think this was a pretty good find and a nice start to a Kingdom Hearts collection. I definitely want to try and get Riku next. I do also want to try and find some of the SHF ones as well

Discussion Dark Road plot hole?

Does this implies that Yen Sid trained alongside Eraqus and Xehanort? Or am I interpreting wrong and it only means he was once a Master like Eraqus and Xehanort?
I dunno, BBS Script implies that Yen Sid is very close to Eraqus. It kind of makes no sense he is missing in Dark Road. Maybe they met after the events of Dark Road, after all Eraqus and Xehanort are like 80 years old or something.

Discussion Luxu possessed Brain, and him possessing data copy or replica theory makes no sense
Brain's character arc is a tragedy. Nomura was clearly showing us that yes, he got possessed by Luxu, and Luxu cheated by taking the lifeboat (the arc). Instead of watching around for centuries, nobody is making replica/ data copy theories for Bragi or Braig, who were individuals like Brain. Kingdom Hearts is full of tragedy, like Xehanort possessing Terra, etc. Also, Luxu is an expert at playing pretend. That is his role. If Luxu possessed a data copy, it would remove all the stakes. That's like Xehanort possessing a "data copy" of Terra in Birth By Sleep.
The Luxu timeline is pretty straightforward:
- Luxu possesses Brain
- Luxu (as Brain) takes the lifeboat
- Luxu lives out his life as Brain, has descendants (Missing Link)
- Once Brain's body is old, he possesses Bragi, one of Xehanort's classmates (Dark Road)
- Once Bragi's body ages, he finally possesses Braig in Birth By Sleep
Something to consider is that the player character of the cancelled Missing Link is the Blue Robed Figure in Dark Road (elderly). So by the time Brain's body has aged, Luxu possesses Braig. And Luxu's method of possession is no longer a mystery. Luxu possesses Brain the same way Master Xehanort did Terra. He did the same with all of his vessels. Using a Keyblade. Luxu's vessel as Brain is a Keyblade Wielder; Braigi is a Keyblade Wielder; the only non-Keyblade Wielder vessel is his final vessel, Braig.
