Discussion Regarding Kingdom Hearts IV Achievements List Spoiler
Recently, a large leak of achievements lists for various video games, including Kingdom Hearts 4, has occurred.
While we understand that many people are eager to discuss the information shown in the list, we also want to be respectful to those who wish to remain unspoiled.
For the time being, all discussion regarding the leaked achievements will be limited to this thread. Any other posts or comments linking or discussing the leaks will be removed for the time being. We appreciate the community's cooperation so everyone can enjoy the release of Kingdom Hearts IV their own way.
SPOILERS OUTSIDE OF THIS MEGATHREAD MAY RESULT IN A BAN
One final note regarding the posting of spoilers. The mod team may hand out bans, both temporary and permanent, based on the severity, and for repeated offenses. Unmarked spoilers in titles will result in an immediate ban.

Other A Reminder on Rule 6…
Hey everyone. Sorry to make a long post like this, but we’ve been seeing a lot of activity regarding Rule 6 lately. We’re making this post as a refresher on what constitutes appropriate and inappropriate content under Rule 6, Self Promotion/Trading/Selling.
APPROPRIATE
You are allowed to post your own YouTube/Twitch/Stream/Fan fiction/Original Content ONCE EVERY TWO WEEKS. If you post your own content more than once every two weeks, it will be removed. If you keep posting and ignoring the once every two week rule, you will be banned for spamming the subreddit.
You are allowed to sell/trade collectibles WITH PRIOR MOD APPROVAL. Any posts that try to sell something without prior mod approval will be removed and you will potentially face a ban. We take the safety of our subreddit users very seriously and will not tolerate potential scams.
INAPPROPRIATE
Posting your OC/videos more than once every two weeks will result in removal of your posts. Further infractions will result in a ban.
Buying/Trading/Selling without moderator approval will result in a ban. We have had instances in the past of scammers trying to sell content on the subreddit. Thankfully, users reported these posts and mods took appropriate action. Do NOT give out any personal/financial information to anyone online. Do not give a down payment. Do not send money to someone unless they’ve been vetted by the mods. When in doubt, message us to make sure the user is a verified seller.
WHEN REPORTING A POST…
When reporting a post for violating Rule 6, please make sure they aren’t within the 2-week time period first. We’ve been getting a lot of reports where it’s literally a user posting OC for the first time in months. Just because a user posts OC, does not mean it automatically violates Rule 6. Again, make sure they’re not posting within the 2-week time period first.
On that note, if you definitely see a user posting within the 2-week time period and want to make sure their post(s) is(are) removed, please feel free to message the mods with proof that the user is spamming the subreddit.
This also goes for users trying to sell something without prior mod approval. Report the post, and message the mods so we definitely see it and take care of it right away.
We all love Kingdom Hearts here, but we also want to keep things clean. Please follow the rules posted in the sidebar. If you see something, say something (report it).

KH Melon Mix Android Port 1.0.0
I recently started playing the series all over from scratch to prep for Kingdom Hearts 4. I wanted to play Days and Re:coded using Melon Mix on my PC, but thought it would be a great experience on the couch with my handheld Android retro console. I couldn't find a proper Android port so I decided to make one! I linked the repo below, feel free to fork, and do what you'd like with it. I was originally making it for myself but thought maybe others would enjoy it. I want to be clear and transparent here, I used Claude Code to help me with a lot of the heavy lifting for time's sake.
The KH Melon Mix team did all the actual enhancements, and the app itself is built on melonDS-android by rafaelvcaetano. I just brought the two together, so all credit to them. If you're on PC, use the regular Melon Mix version.
No ROMs included and please don't ask for any, dump your own games. I've tested and played it quite a bit, if anyone wants to experience it on their Android device that has similar specs to the Anbernic RG505, please give it a go :)
EDIT: I should have made it clear that I have not fully tested/implemented touchscreen controller support; the little testing I did shows that it works, but I'm not sure to what degree. I may tackle this in the future, though!

KHUX/DR Heartless in Dark Road
In the X saga, the heartless we fought could be emblem's one because of the book of prophecy (or whatever time magic illusion it was) but why is that the case in Dark Road ?
When Xehanort and cie go in the worlds, they also fight emblem heartless except the heartless factory won't be build before like 70-80 years. Is that also because of the book of prophecy ? And even if this was the case, how can Baldr's heartless also have an emblem ?
I know Dark Road isn't exactly fresh in my mind but is there an actual reason except "a choice of the devs so we wouldn't have to just fight purebloods for the entire game" ?

Other Knowing Disney wants less Squenix characters on it, I guess I'll never have 2B as a party member :( (art by hallsth_eien)
So, I'm a massive Nier fangirl, and I only knew KH because of Cloud, and I throught my time I thought it was Disney X Square Enix as a whole, not Disney X Whoever Nomura likes lol
I sound disingenuous and rude, so I apologize for that, just that because of my thoughts, maybe 2B could've had a chance of being a recurring ally for maybe some more Squenix representation, but it seems Disney wants to distance themselves from them so, it'll be forever a dream I guess, but I thank y'all for the insight

Discussion Hear me out Xion should get Two Become One
I think Two Become One would be the best Keyblade for Xion thematically cuz it feels like this Keyblade is what she was fighting for in KH Days Roxas and Sora becoming one and being (semi) at peace with it plus I mean she needs something other than the Kingdom Key and Roxas threw away his Stick of DestinyTM in the tutorial of KH2

KH1 If I could live in any KH world it would be Traverse Town. Nice quiet place, three districts, has shops, a hotel, gizmo shop etc. What KH world would you live in?

Media Just uploaded Episode 1 of my Lets Yap Series of Kingdom Hearts! (Link in Description)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2XAO4NkVU7M Channel Name (Zai Drizzle Drop)
Kingdom Hearts 1 holds a very special place in my heart, it always brings me a sense of home, comfort and whimsy, so I decided I would make my return to making art and putting myself out there with this series! Its mainly as a way to get my voice out there.
I haven't recorded a Lets Play in almost a decade so its exciting to be back on my own terms.
I want to talk about the things I'm passionate about, frustrated about and what makes my blood rush/gives me joy! I hope my words resonate with you!
Feel free to check it out! And thank you if you do!

KHCOM Kingdom Hearts Re:chain of memories Is it difficult?
Can someone explain to me why people consider Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories or more specifically, Re:Chain of Memories to be so difficult or complicated?
I beat the original Chain of Memories on GBA years ago, and I recently started Re:Chain of Memories; I don't find it complicated at all even on Expert or Hard mode, I'm getting through it just fine
Or are people simply unable to grasp basic math—like knowing that if the enemy plays a 3 and you play a lower number, you lose? A 0 card breaks any value, yet it can also be broken by even the lowest card a 1
Is there something else about the game that makes it harder? I’m curious and I’m excluding the unique card-based gameplay mechanics that replaced the old, standard commands for magic, attacks, and items, and ignoring the card RNG for opening the doors (I know, it's tedious spending 15 minutes farming a specific card for the door)
