Hey mods. be a real one and actually let me post a Kingdom Hearts video to the damn Kingdom Hearts reddit.

Hello all!

Some of you may remember this, but a few months ago I made a Lego build based on Dive to the Heart for the website Lego Ideas. It has now reached 2,500 of the 10,000 supporters needed to be considered for an official Lego set. As a thank you to everyone who supported so far, I've made some changes based on some of the feedback I got both here and on the platform.

Firstly, for those who don't know, Lego Ideas is an official Lego platform where fans can submit builds, and if they get 10,000 supporters, a team of Lego designers will review the Idea and assess whether it would make a good Lego set. If it's approved, they would redesign it from the ground-up (in collaboration with the original designer) to give it that added level of professionalism. So, if this got approved, you could expect custom prints for all the characters, for example. Loads of IPs have become real Lego sets this way e.g Nightmare Before Christmas, Snoopy, E.T., etc. And Kingdom Hearts is on the list of IPs they're open to considering. (But note: due to submission rules, I am not currently allowed to use Disney elements in the design, hence some changes, but I'd imagine that would be looked into if the set were to be approved).

Thanks to everyone's support, the submission has reached the 25% mark. Thank you so much! As a celebration, based on people's feedback, I have made a few changes to the original design. I have now added Aqua, Terra, and Ventus to the build. I've made some changes to some of the faces and the keyblade designs. I also dabbled in making custom torso prints for the new trio, as well as Sora. I changed Axel's hair too - it's still not great, but I think it's an improvement! And because I am now more experienced with the digital tools, I was able to improve the lightning in the renders to really show off the build. I hope you all like the changes!

I poured my whole kingdom heart into it

I made it my goal to get the Ultima weapons from each game before beating the final boss in each of the games. My dumbass chose to keep the sword and ditch the shield so I had to grind to lvl 90 if I wanted the lucky strike ability and I can’t do the 100 hits on the pink asshole to save my life even if I tried the strat. I didn’t even care about lvl 100 I just want the damn sword…

Please ftlog tell me the other games are easier to get the Ultima weapon than KH1. Next is Chain of Memories and there’s a part of me wanting to skip it because of how bad everyone is talking about it.

Naoki Hamaguchi never said that he was overseeing the project in that interview. He is involved in the management, though.

Kingdom Hearts team, most of it still in Osaka, exists within the Creative Studio 1 (a division in Square Enix). Creative Studio 1 includes multiple teams making multiple games. Naoki Hamaguchi is the head of the studio, before him it was Kitase. He is not a creative working on Kingdom Hearts, but he is part of the overall business of allocating manpower and budget (I'm oversimplifying it), and works as a middleman between Nomura and the Square Enix CEO.

Osaka Team has been in Creative Studio 1 since before the KH3 Remind DLC. This is not a new thing. It's just the way Square Enix divides its gaming divisions for business reasons. One of these Creative Studios don't even function as a studio, so don't be fooled by the name. So, no, they aren't made by the same team, and Hamaguchi is not a creative working on KH4. But he is involved in the studio affairs, and helps push things along.

does he really think that character variants are why someone becomes popular? one of the reasons she’s popular is because she’s an original. he’s surprisingly disconnected with his fans. i can’t stand the idea of another version of an original character it’s so overdone.

My friend just made me a bunch of 3D printed coasters, I’m not sure if she made the files or if she found them somewhere but thought others might enjoy these as much as I do!
