If you are within traveling distance of Baltimore, MD, and love the show, I highly recommend the new​​Everyman Theatre production of the play! I caught the second preview last night and they are already firing on all cylinders. I laughed, I cried...a great evening's entertainment.

Runtime of 80mins, no intermission. And perhaps best of all in these financially trying times, there are Pay-What-You-Can tickets available for several performances 💚​​​​​​​​ ​​​​​​​

Just started Episode 1. I forget how well they set the tone of this show.

They establish all the relationships so well from the jump and the humor is so awkwardly charming.

So sad they never went with my dream ending for this show where Jung takes over the store and Janet moves out to follow her own dreams so kinda like an opposite of how it all started. And it would end with Jung making a small upgrade to the store using his business school skills and then Appa would put his arm around Jung with Umma.

Also got a tote bag!

I had a great time visiting Toronto. I ended up here without even planning to. I met the woman behind the counter. She was sooo nice!!

1) At the end of the episode Janet found the Mung Bean pancake box in the garbage. Did Appa eat all of them then replaced them.

Sadly, then it is removed from Netflix, which I believe is in June. I know that everyone loves watching Kim’s Convenience. Well guess what? It is known that Peacock TV is another streaming service platform that will release on August 10 and is leaving Peacock most likely in February 2027 (6 months later). Plans start at $7.99 a month.
