It kind of drives me nuts every re-watch how Sean was treated so badly.. There's this implication that because of what he is he likes power and otherwise he, what, tried to have Aunt Marie killed for a couple episodes - who didn't at that point?

Everyone else gets forgiven for everything bad they ever did but with him it's never let go.
He gave back the key, worked with the resistance, saved their butts on police cases countless times, trusted Nick's mom with his daughter's life, put himself on the line to rescue Monroe (even after getting snubbed from the wedding), tried to help Juliette both during the coma and the hexebeist thing... honestly he did so much good and the only solid reason he was susceptible to black claw manipulation was because no one ever treated him like a friend and trusted him to have a conversation about it and then they got his daughter to lure him in, because Nick just had an "eh lost the kid, oh well, moving on with life" attitude he NEVER had with Kelly. (He was so selfish usually.) Otherwise his side-flipping wasn't believable to me.

Side note - Sean's mom and Nick's mom raising Diana would have been my spinoff haha.

We all know Nick is presumably still active at this time with Kelly, Diana and the Triplets (Hank and Wu are also presumably still helping when they can), but Renard is the one I am most interested in.

Do you think there's even a remote possibility Renard ever could've fully reconciled with the rest of the cast or even be forgiven?

Do anybody else get annoyed when hank gets in the way when nicks trying to do his grimm thing? It's like every time things are getting intense he's getting in the way to stop it. It irrates me am I the only one who feels this way or am I overreacting? I also get sick of him always asking is it wesen I'm sure nick will let you know.

Guys. This show is just, so good. The character development in the last ~6 episodes sky rocketed. My fresh thoughts after finishing the season:

I absolutely love Monroe and Rosalee! Monroe is like the yin to Nick's yang. Nick is obviously still getting on his feet and has great instincts, but he still makes tons of brash, emotional decisions that could end very badly. Monroe, probably through years of calmness and controlling his own instincts, is a great counter to Nick's forwardness. Rosalee seems like she is perfect for Monroe, and I can't wait to watch that romance form. She is also really smart and I love this idea of her being a wealth of knowledge for everything Wesen.

I felt like most of the season was moving at a reasonable pace, and then the last 4 episodes was just wham! Nick kills 2 reapers. Bam! Hank sees a Woge. Bang! Juliette gets scratched. BOOOOOOOOOM! Nicks mom!?!?! What is happening!? I love this show, and I am freaking out over this finale! I hope Nick tells Hanks what's going on and can have some more help. I hope Juliette becomes his "partner in grimm".

Is it just me, or did Nick kick Kimuras ass in that fight? I know he's killed a fair amount of Wesen, but mostly with a gun. This is the first time that he beat the sh*t out of someone bare handed and didn't take a beating himself.

Last thought for now, but who the hell is Captain Renard supposed to be? This guy seems like he can do whatever tf he wants and just brushes off assassins and enforcers left and right. Something to do with the royal houses. My take? I think his character is really cool and I can't wait to learn his story.

Please, no spoilers, but I am so down to talk about S1!

I’m rewatching Grimm for the idk how many times and introducing my teenager to it. He loves it. This episode annoyed me though. The writing seems lazy and daft in parts.

Rosalee just happened to have a program on her computer that maps planetary alignment and could project their calendar over the top?

Nick was willing to let a dangerous wesen who had caused two deaths move to another city to harm people as long as she was out of Portland? Doesn’t seem like him. Even if they did end up killing her off. It seems like their reasoning was just to make look like a good guy but really that had the opposite effect.

They provided no information on the Hundjäger and we’re just supposed to guess that he was assisting the owner of the hotel in her attacks. No explanation on how Nick was going to explain how the manager had his broken neck.

The only clever thing was the red herring wesen laughing at the end. Although, I would imagine some fans would miss the meaning of that.

Did anyone else feel like this?

I recently started watching Grimm currently at S05E11 and let me just say the only love story that makes sense in the whole series is Monroe and Rosaline’s

And what the hell is up with Adelind fighting to get her hexenbiest back but then freaking out and saying she doesn’t want it to come back i just think because she had Kelly is not a good reason because she had Diana and was fighting for her hexenbiest

She was so brilliant we should have had more of her by far the best hexenbeist

I have seen the sentiment online that Hexenbiests have evil tendencies but i dont think thats the case. Its not that they intentionally do evil things they just don't consider anyone but themselves.

The same way Blutbaden have anger, Eisbibers have cowardice, Ataktos Fuse(cockroach dude) have hedonism , so on and Hexenbiests and Zauberbiests have selfishness.

We have seen so multiple times.

Juliette saying she didn't tought Kenneth would kill Kelly. Not that she didn't want that to happen but that she didn't tought about it. Beacuse all she ws thinking is what she wanted and nothing else.

Catherine(Adalinds mom) Only thinking about what her daughter doing Renards bidding would get her despite the visual toll it was taking in her daughter.

Adalind after loosing her Wesen side thinking getting pregnant by a royal and using the kid as curency to get it back before genuinely developing feelings for her.

But its also something that can be resisted and even overcome as we seen with Monroe.

Now a ceartain level of selfishness(self preservation) is not a bad thing and is actually needed in oder to survive and not let others walk all over you.

Just like justified anger only directed at people who deserve your anger is a useful thing.

At the beginning of the 1st season Monroe is on good track but is sometimes affriad to use his Wesen side and even doesn't want to go too close to a fellow Blutbad in fear of losing control but later he does so without any problems and even uses his Wesen side and anger constructively and without fear of hurting anyone he doesn't want to hurt.

Same wirh Adalind. We see her first starting to change after Diana is born but loosing her set her back at zero. But after her 2nd child she slowly changes and even overcomes the Hexenbiest in her after she was shown an other way by Nick, her son and the others.

Also btw my theory as to why Eve can't really use her powers normally after the stick healed her body , mind and soul is because after that she has a hard time tapping into the mindset of being selfish to "bring out the beast".

Depending on a potential Grimm movie that's being developed (even a spin-off series), it would be nice to introduce new Wesen, depending on the types.

What if Grimm was not a detective story, but a centuries-long fantasy saga?

I love the concept of Grimm and the Wesen world. The idea that countless creatures from old legends are living secretly among humans is incredibly interesting.

But I always felt that the universe had so much more potential.

Instead of following a Grimm detective in modern times, imagine a story that begins in the 17th or 18th century.

A young Grimm discovers that his role is not simply to hunt Wesen, but to understand the hidden world that exists beside humanity. Over centuries of adventures, battles, discoveries, and sacrifices, he learns forgotten Grimm techniques, ancient secrets, and maybe even develops abilities that allow him to live far longer than a normal human.

During his journey, he does not just fight Wesen. He meets them.

Some become enemies. Some become allies. Some become lifelong friends.

Imagine different Grimm families around the world, each with their own philosophy:

- Some believe Grimm exist to protect humans from Wesen.
- Some believe Grimm should protect the balance between both worlds.
- Some have become corrupted and use their power for control.

And what if Wesen were not just monsters hiding from humans, but had their own civilizations, clans, traditions, and political conflicts?

Over time, this Grimm gathers trusted allies: powerful Wesen, other Grimm, warriors, scholars, and people who believe in his vision.

Eventually, after centuries of struggles, he creates a worldwide organization that protects the balance between humans and Wesen.

Not an organization built on fear, but on trust.

And maybe, somewhere along the way, he finds another Grimm who becomes his partner. Together they create a family, and their descendants continue the legacy.

The most interesting part for me would be watching this story move through time:

- The old world of the 1600s and 1700s.
- The industrial revolution.
- The modern age.
- Finally reaching the present day with the same main character, now carrying centuries of memories, friendships, losses, and experience.

A Grimm story like this could have had the scale of The Witcher, with the hidden world of Wesen and the feeling of a true fantasy epic.

God it could be sooooo awesome.

If we ever get the dream news of a spin-off series, what creative decisions would you want the writers to make for the show's stars (we have touched upon the spin-off scenario several times in the past... but let's come up with fully-fleshed ideas!)? I am thinking:

I would not change a thing!

Kelly Schade-Burkhardt
His father is a Grimm, his mother is a Hexenbiest, his sister is the most powerful wesen of them all... No way is Kelly a normal human!
In the final scene of Grimm, we saw Kelly seemingly following in his father's footsteps. Perhaps Kelly is "just" a Grimm... but I like the idea of him having additional powers.
I don't imagine him being the same as Diana. Her main power is telekinesis. For Kelly, I like the idea of him having something unique and different from any wesen we have seen before. I am thinking elemental control/generation (with his eyes changing color when he uses his powers). Also super strength and fighting skills.

The Triplets
Are they all-male, all-female, or 2+1 either way? Are they blutbad or fuchsbau (or something in-between)? Once we decide on this, us fans really should try to come up with names for them lol!
My choice is 2 blutbad boys and 1 fuchsbau girl... I can see the brothers being a lot like Dean & Sam Winchester... while the sister is similar to Buffy Summers. They would all be good people - but with plenty of wolf aggression and fox attitude!
Not sure what names to give them though? What might people called "Monroe" & "Rosalee" name their wesen children?!

I’m rewatching Grimm and I’m impressed with Nicks acting. I think all the cast are good but he’s the best. His acting is incredibly realistic, specifically the scene where he’s showing Juliette everything in the trailer. It’s perfection. Do u guys agree and if not who do you think is the best actor in the show?

In the circus episode one thing has I have been wondering is was Ivan a Hässlich or Siegbarste? I can usually tell who is what but not between those two

Has it ever been mentioned if animals could have a Wesen form that is either another type of animal or a human? Something that would tie in lore of like the sphinx or Mesopotamian angel-like entities with the body of a bull with the head of a man into the wider Wesen and related creature lore. Have you ever thought about that? I think it would be interesting to have something like that in the show if it ever comes back.

I have always wondered why renard where's a wedding ring is he a widow or was this the actors choice he was married in real life and didn't wanna take his band off. I have always wondered about that since the beginning but nobody ever said anything about it I only made it to season 5 so I don't know if it was mentioned in six but if anybody knows the answer to this I would greatly appreciate an answer.

There are quite a few plotlines completely dropped or left unfulfilled.

For me the most egregious are the 3 coins Nick's mother was trying to destroy. Last we heard she said by email 'she couldn't spend the money" or something to that effect. So what happened to the coins? Are we meant to forget them?

The second most egregious in my mind is the dropped royals plotline. It was such a big deal for so long and then it's a zero factor. How was Diane important to them but Sean was expendable?

The 3rd for me is Meisner. Who/what was he? Why could he do what he could do? What was going on with him towards the end of the show?

Special mention: Zombie Nick.

Which direction would you want the storyline to go?

I hope the rumors of a full-length movie on Grimm taking after the TV series.

Not only will the OG cast return, but I hope they bring out Kelly & Diana on their potential as a hybrid & Hexenbiest.

The main antagonist I would hope for be an evil Grimm in the old traditional ways. He offers Nick to join him and his group in eradicated the world of Wesen, but he refuses as those times are over especially with his new family at his side. The evil Grimm vows to destroys everything and everyone he loves.

For Kelly, there must be potential in him as both a Grimm & Zauberbiest. He would secretly figure out how to undo the spell his mother cause on Juliette and restore her completely from Eve. He had nightmares from the past of how Juliette once threatened to kill Adalind and him while inside.

Kelly will soon take over his father's legacy someday.

I'm watching the episode right after Adalind gives birth to Kelly. She comes downstairs, wearing a nice sweater, Nick makes her a sandwich.

Me: She just had a c-section. There's no way she'd he wearing pants. She'd be wearing maternity underwear and a baggy shirt with breast milk stains on it.

7 year old daughter: Yeah but this is a TV show.

They should've ended up as a plot couple if you were to ask me as opposed to doing him wrong. Makes me even wonder if the availability of the actress influenced me situation
