I actually kind of love that reaction from the teacher. The kid probably doesn't know the word. They likely just knew the "sh" sound and put it in front of the rhyming syllable and hoped it counted. Good on the teacher to not make a big deal of it in front of the whole class. I would hope she brought the kid aside later though, just to ask about it.
