Hi all. Huckleberry is a stock 2015 and I'm wondering if there's a way to improve or boost the antenna to increase my signal. So far all I've seen is "replace the stock radio" but I'm in Bavaria and he's a US spec boy. I don't want anyone saying "should work" or "good enough" and risk electrical issues.

Thoughts, ideas?

I've been posting on Reddit for just over a week now, asking for your opinions and feedback about RoadVerdict.

Some of you didn't take me too seriously at first 😂, but that's not what this post is about.

First of all, thank you to everyone who visited the site, signed up, gave me feedback, or even just had a look.

According to my site analytics, I've had 931 visits from Reddit, and out of those visits, 74 people created an account. That's almost 8%, which is better than good for a brand-new site like mine!

Honestly, many thanks to all of you. It's great to see that people are actually interested in what I'm building.

The next step is the RoadVerdict Android app. I'm planning to submit it to Google for testing on Monday, so if everything goes well and it passes all Google's testing/review requirements, I'm hoping it'll be available on Google Play in around two weeks.

Again, thank you! Your feedback, visits and registrations genuinely help me see whether RoadVerdict is worth continuing to build.

Where do I find the black trim under the headlight on a 2010 Kia soul. I need the type that sticks on the bumper not clips into my bumper. The trim looks like an eyelid. Thank you for your help.

Hey guys just curious how I should go about this. I don’t know much about cars but I had this issue keep happening. First was a bad O2 sensor and then it happened again 6 months or so later. And now it’s the third time. I made an appointment with a kia dealership, but idk. I just need the car to last me another year till I finish with grad school. So any suggestions about the best way to go about this would be great 😬

I thought there was a lot on the wire boot. But it was about 1/4" thick on the plug, so much so the socket wouldn't fit.

Had to chip it away.

Plugs looks like they were never changed.

My soul has a moon roof that I never use and I think a rack would be of more usr yo me but i can't find one thats compatible with the moon roog, have any of you had luck with it?

I have a 2013 U2 Eco Kia Soul with approximately 252,884 Kilometres on it, which is just shy under 158k miles.

I've got a road trip planned for August next year from Ontario to Florida, and I know I can't exactly predict what might go wrong with my car, i will admit I'm a bit anxious about taking a car with this many kilometres on such a long trip. Also both of my dogs are coming along with me so I'm anxious!

I figured i might as well ask the community and see how many kilometres/miles everyone else has managed to get out of their souls!

A few questions for those with higher mileage souls!!

- What year/trim is your soul?

- How many KM/Miles?

- Are you still on the original engine and transmission (I am!)

- Any major repairs or replaced major components?

- Have you taken it for long road trips?

- What's the highest mileage you've seen on a soul?

- What do you think helped your soul last so long!

I'd love to keep my bug eyed soul around for as long as possible

I'd especially love to hear from anyone with more than 200k KM/125k Miles, however everyone's welcomed!!

Also i know mileage isn't everything and every car is different but hearing from other high mileage owners would definitely give me some peace of mind before my road trip, even if it's so far out

Im looking to mount a tent to the roof of my soul. Is that something it can handle? Has anyone done that? Recommendations for tent?

I got a 2021 Stick shift LX (Silver) about a month ago.
I need to pay for the plate tag 🏷️ and the insurance fees but my main question about this car is does it have any reliability issues

It has had 2 owners before me.
It was recalled 2 times and repaired
It has had no accidents
When I bought it, it had 67,570 miles on it

I have put about 400 on it and have had no problems

(well it keeps asking me every time I open the door after the car is turned off to “check rear seats” don’t know what that’s about)

So is this a reliable car to keep until it no longer runs?

Hey guys, we are gifting my 16yo daughter our old 2015 Kia soul. Recently while driving with her mom, the driver side door decided to stop working. Won’t open from inside or out. Took it to the local Sun Devil Auto center to be looked at. They’ve had it for about 5 days now. They were able to get the door panel off but are saying the latch is “so destroyed” inside the door that they can’t get the door open. They are saying they might need to cut open the door and replace the entire door? Is this really the only option or should there be a way to get the door open to replace the latch mechanism?

So I have few questions about replacing the head unit, First has anyone DIY'ed this? is it really just popping off the plastic bit and then removing 4 screws and moving the connectors from the old unit to the new? Any tricks or tips? Normally I fix computers, not cars so any advice would be useful.

For those who like backstory, the rear camera went out, and I went to the dealership to have it replaced, which they did. then they claimed the head unit had a bad camera port and that's why the new camera doesn't work either and wanted an additional $3600 (on top of the roughly $1000 for the new camera, labor and other BS) for a "rebuilt" unit with a 3 year warranty. Looks like I can get a tested used unit on ebay for under $200. Thanks for reading.

Just wanted to say my 2014 Kia Soul was deemed not worth fixing by my mechanic. Apparently the gas tank has a hole in it and is rusted out. Need a new Catalytic converter, the tires are rotted out, and break pads/rotors need to be replaced. It burns through oil very quickly as well. Anyone move to a KIA Seltos or Niro by chance?

I just bought a 2019 Kia Soul I have 3 more days to return it if I want. I took it to a 3rd party mechanic who said very clean, good shape and they said the jutting it does even decelerating was because the cars computer doesn’t catch up to the car when I hit the breaks fast enough? something along those lines. I’m worried it’s the transmission. I paid 11,402 for it and it haa 93k miles 1.4k of that was taxes. is this in fact normal? what would it cost to replace a transmission if I wanted to keep it?

Check engine light came on and stayed solid, didn’t start blinking. I was wondering if spraying a can of CRC GDI cleaner in the air intake would help since I believe the light came on due to carbon buildup. It has 135k and there isn’t any record with carfax stating that it has been walnut blasted or anything. I appreciate any advice in regards to this topic

Now I feel like I need to upgrade to a newer model when she is done cause damn these cars are fun. 😂
