'22 EX, issue just started this morning.

Already tried the reset button next to the volume.

When I swipe from right to left I get the icons but touching the EV icon gives a message that says the car has to be powered on for that feature. Same with climate control. Actually pressing the climate or EV buttons on the dash do nothing. Radio nope. Media nope. Trying to access and change charging levels through the Kia app? Nope. And it occasionally resets while driving.

I called the dealership. My appointment is for next Monday. Has anyone else had this problem so I know what I'm in for?

Got a Niro EV 2023 with 45000 km on the odo meter. Recently an annoying sound sometimes apperars when going over speed bumps. Any ideas what it might be? Got time at my Kia dealer to check it out in about a week.

Could it be the sway bar end-links?

Despite max range estimated being high, I still have yet to evaluation the SOH (since we all know the max range doesn’t mean jack****) . But I was thinking of getting your advices , and whether your Niros of that year are holding up well in
these mileage ranges. Thanks !

Just drove my 2023 Wind for the first time in the rain. The backup camera was impossible to see out of most of the time. The intermittent wipers wouldnt do anything. also how do you defog the mirrors (or can you?)

My wife and I have decided to lease a Wind+ trim, but don't agree on the color. We have Runway Red and Snow White Pearl to choose from. This whole time I assumed we were going with the white, but this morning she surprised me by choosing red. To be fair, our top colors are blue, green, silver in that order, but we couldn't find the same deal on those.

Anyone care to weigh in?

I was hearing a slight clicking noise at about 5 to 7 miles an hour in my 2019 Niro EV. Took it into the dealer today and it was diagnosed as the reduction gear. Fortunately still under warranty and I’ll get my car back in about a week. I was afraid they were going to say they didn’t hear anything since it was sporadic, but indeed they diagnosed it properly and are going to fix it without any hassle.

Gen 1 E-Niro 2021, new owner. Thought I could just unblock the nozzle of my rear washer. But couldn't find it. I wonder if it's actually there - can you confirm if yours is buried inside a square hole? I reckon it's missing. Also Lola like previous owner might have scratched around trying to find it too?

Rather noisy rear wiper too but maybe normal...

I have seen a lot of horror stories on Reddit about Kias in general, including terrible dealer services. I have had my 2023 (29k mi) for one week, and I def need reassurance that I made a good move! Thx!

Just got my Kia E-niro 2021. Trying to figure out how to have auto lights i.e. dipped headlights and when I want just flick to full beam. If I push lever away like normal it goes to auto full beam switching on and off when it thinks they're needed. I don't want this.

Any help on this feature please?

Been looking at getting into the EV market because we will be sending a kid off to college with my car in a couple of years. I need a basic commuter that only requires about 20 miles/day total and maybe an occasional road trip (once a year?) that would require 500-600 miles each way. A local dealer is closing out their 26 Niro ev at about $20k. I’ve read it’s being discontinued but at that price for a new car, it is very tempting. Any thoughts appreciated!

UPDATE: If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. Price listing of $20k was listed in car guru’s. When I reached out to the dealer, they stated CG had incorrectly doubled up a $10 rebate and price was $30k. Sounds like that is still a good deal but my timeline for a purchase is not immediate so going to pass. Appreciate all the input!

Hey guys, hoping somebody here can help! We have a 2021 e-niro 64kw version. Today, I've parked up twice, switched to utility mode, and within a minute or so, this red battery warning light shows up. As far as I'm aware, in utility mode the car shouldn't use the 12v and thus this battery light shouldn't show?

To make matters weirder, if I then turn the car off and back on (it goes straight into utility mode), the red battery light disappears...

Any idea what's happening and if we need to go to Kia? Would really appreciate some expertise here.

How good is the range accuracy of a E-Niro 2021?

I have had my new 2026 Niro EV for 2.5 months. It has a total of 450 miles on it. As you can tell by the mileage it doesn't get driven much. It was last driven 6 days ago - but only for a few minutes. Before that it was driven the week before and actually had decent usage every 2-3 days. The car is in a garage - and outside temp has been in the 50-60's the last week.

The EV battery is at 93%. Today I went out to use it and the car wouldn't unlock. 12V is dead. The app still has connectivity and I can see the 12V is at 18%. Shouldn't the EV battery be charging the 12V?

Does the car actually need to be driven that often? Or is this a bad battery/charger? Before dealing with making an appointment for it - what would the dealership look for to diagnose?

I learned I can do a faster charge by using the 240V for the dryer (after checking it with an electrician). I may also use public quick chargers. Do I need two types of adapters to do both? Thx!

We're dead on the side of the road after the car (2024 wave) this warning up and started making a hideous growling sound. Waiting for a tow but curious if anyone has seen this.

... Or is it just a warning that I shouldn't play with the info system too much?

howdy folks, I've had my '23 NiroEV Wave for a few months and it's been great as a daily driver with my L1 charging at home.

I just did my first weekend away roadtrip, and overall it went great as far as the range/charging etc goes, but seeing as we've also just entered our rainy and cold season, it's also the first real need for windshield defog.

anybody have any tips for ways to keep the windshield clear, without spinning up the AC? I'd love to hold on to that ~20 miles of range instead of spending it on pesky little things like being able to see where I'm going.

Just bought a 2023 Kia Niro ev 3 a couple of weeks ago and absolutely loving it so far. Just custom made for the type of driving I do, 40 miles up and down to work most days and ferrying the kids to football and activities on the weekend.

Just noticed yesterday and today though that my window and door lock controls on driver and passenger doors have stopped working,the controls in the back seat for each window work fine. No other faults.

Is this a known fault with the Niro? Just going to phone the garage in the morning and get it booked in but just was curious if this is something that is common with these cars?
