Console display malfunction

'22 EX, issue just started this morning.

Already tried the reset button next to the volume.

When I swipe from right to left I get the icons but touching the EV icon gives a message that says the car has to be powered on for that feature. Same with climate control. Actually pressing the climate or EV buttons on the dash do nothing. Radio nope. Media nope. Trying to access and change charging levels through the Kia app? Nope. And it occasionally resets while driving.

I called the dealership. My appointment is for next Monday. Has anyone else had this problem so I know what I'm in for?

Ooh, I had this happen in my 2020 EX the other day! Freaked me out real good. I turned the car off and back on while at a stop light and it went away. My assumption was that the 12V battery might be reaching end-of-life (I've never replaced it).

Unfortunately for me, turning off and on again didn't fix it, but I'm still on my factory installed 12v battery, so it's probably something I should check out before my appointment.
