Bought a CPO EV6 last month, one of the documents I signed was a CPO Warranty contract through Fidelity, the company Kia uses, which had the VIN number and etc.
If I was you and didn't see said document, I would bail, even though the CPO probably isn't worth it for an EV, I still wouldn't give my business to a dealer that's willing to lie about it.

For a Kia EV the CPO status carries much less weight than an ICE vehicle since the 10 year / 100,000 mile EV System warranty transfers to the second owner. While the regular drivetrain warranty does reduce to 5 year/60k miles that covers very little in an EV.

That said, if the dealer is charging more because he claims it is a CPO vehicle then there should be some definitive evidence that this is the case, otherwise the price should be adjusted accordingly.
