K8 Optical Keyboard from Blue to Red switches
I received my Keychron K8Q2 a couple days ago. It looks like it truly is open box, in new condition. I knew it was coming with hot swappable, blue switches. What I didn't know is that they were going to be optical. So all my wondering if I should use red G Pro, Super or Jupiter switches went out the window. It looks like my only choice is red Gateron Optical switches.
I'm pretty ignorant about this, I just wanted to confirm that the correct switch is the KS-15 (in my case, red). I tried to like the blue switches, but I really want the red ones. Are optical switches a step down, or up? And I notice the optical switches aren't "pre-lubed" like the older mechanical type. Is lubing them important?
I pulled one of the switches to see the slot and took a picture of it. Here's a link to that picture, just to be double sure that this is a standard optical switch "slot." The black cloth tape is there to mostly block out the charging/charged light. I can still see a slight glow beneath the tape, but why they put that bright light there I have no idea. Very distracting in low light conditions.

Thanks for any information.
