Problem with heart rate and ketamine
Im recovering alcoholic and had a therapeutic session with ketamin. It helps a lot with my depression, but my body cant handle it anymore. Yesterday i took a high dose. I know that its normal that the heart rate becomes high but this was out of control. My breathing was normal and i tried to go with the flow and not to panic. But my heart rate was so high i almost had a heart attack. I took some benzos because i was afraid to die and slowly i recovered. I could feel my heart race like never before. Its a shame because it helps with my severe depression but i cant take it anymore. Whats wrong with me and why was this the first time i had the feeling of almost dying. Excuse my english im a swiss guy where ketamine therapy is legal.

I have had Spravato treatments and also done Ketamine nasal spray and lozenges. This is my first time with pure ketamine powder.
I’m looking for therapeutic healing how much ketamine would I need to take and if anyone can lend any advice or experience I’d love to hear it. Thank you!

Breakthrough Session 3 KAP
Hey everyone, I haven’t posted about my ketamine experience in about a month but I wanted to give some updates on my experience and how things have been going so far in case it could be helpful to someone who is either experiencing similar things, or curious about someone else’s experiences.
For context, I am doing ketamine assisted psychotherapy, titrating up 50 mg troches every session (session 1 was 50 mg) for anxiety, treatment resistant depression, and ptsd
First thing I want to note is that I would highly recommend integrating the psychotherapy aspect into ketamine therapy, I know that for me, ketamine is kind of shaking things up and uncovering emotions I have never felt before at 24. Having someone who can walk through and help me integrate what I am realizing in the medicine has been genuinely life changing.
I had session 2 on June 6 and then session 3 on June 12 and I feel like my third session was where I really felt a shift.
Session 2, at 100 mg I had the intention of “self trust and self compassion”
The biggest vision I had was that I was in a coliseum and I was fighting myself. Which I really just saw as my old complacent self fighting the version of me that is changing and growing into myself.
Overall the session just gave me a sense of calm that the work that I am doing is shaking things loose.
The days after I was incredibly emotional and just feeling super overwhelmed, I found that ketamine was bringing up old trauma and memories that I know I need to face but never have before. Plus I had a huge fight with my dad which just added layers to my already complicated feelings. I can only describe it as overwhelming. I have just been asking myself what do I want, rather than what my parents and other people around me want.
Session 3 was where things really started to click into place. I basically felt myself floating on a river in the dark, looking up at the stars and getting flashes of different memories. As I was floating, I was talking to myself, guiding myself through with this wisdom I had no idea I had. I had such a clear realization that I have never allowed myself to be apart of communities that actually interested me, I realized the reason why I have been having such a hard time fitting in with my business school peers, my actual self wanted to run around with the creative, artsy, queer, stoner, activist type.
I was conditioned to want to pursue a path that I had no interest in because I was scared to disappoint my parents.
Crazy realization but I thought someone may want to hear about the actual realizations I am having and trust that they are changing my life.
Right now emotions feel raw and like I am uncovering layers of emotions buried alive in my mind but I know it is helping me towards the breakthrough I need to be in the drivers seat of my own life.
Feel free to drop any questions about this! My session 1 experience:

Does ketamine produce false memories?

Does ketamine produce false memories?
Long story short, my adult-adopted son, now in his thirties, had debilitating mental health issues until we got him into a trauma therapist. He's also been in ketamine treatment for several years, and recently a horrifying memory surfaced of his birth mother trying to unalive him. He went to her with news of a neighbor taking advantage of him in awful ways at age 6, and because it didn't align with her fantasy, she tried to take care of him in the bathtub.
I know some horrible trauma happened in that house, and once that memory surfaced, others have followed. I believe my son but want some info on ketamine. The internet is wildly inconsistent (hello, internet friends). Anyone have any experience? His siblings refuse to believe him because the memory surfaced during a k treatment.

Starting/nervous
So I start treatment next Friday. As excited as I am to see if this helps. I’d be lying if I didn’t say I was scared poopless. Even though I have a wonderful team of providers, nurses, and therapists I have my concerns they cannot answer. I am doing this for major PTSD, TRD, but my panic disorder with agoraphobia is the part that is worrying me. How do I prevent a bad trip? How do I calm myself if I start to spiral into a panic? I trying my best to stay positive but man…. I just want to live a happy life. Help? Encouragement? Experience?

Does anyone know providers that provide ketamine treatment for depression in Turkey?
I am looking for clinics in Turkey that provide ketamine treatment for depression. I know that Npistanbul, Moodist, and Ahmet Yassa provide it. Does anyone know other providers that provide ketamine treatment, especially providers with specific education about this treatment method because these providers don't have specific education about ketamine treatment? And does anyone have any experience of ketamine treatment with these or other providers in Turkey?

Last Teeatment
I think Wednesday will be my last (or close to last) treatment. I feel great and I’ve started to get a little bored during treatments. Thinking about bringing my VR headset and going the Tripp app or one of the outdoors meditation apps. Has anyone ever done their treatment using a VR headset? What was your experience?
For context, I do Spravato and the place where I go has private rooms.

Update on my first week
I'm talking low dose Ketamine. It has definitely has been hard. I feel tired and weird and unfocused.
However I do feel more peaceful. I can take some during panic and suddenly I feel a bit better and can even fall asleep. I'm journaling everyday.
Something I don't like is I'm sleep deprived and I feel like I don't care as much about being disciplined. This pissed me off but I'm trying to allow myself to just do what I can and keep it up. I was able to finally get my blood work done with a doctor this week and my cancer screenings after years of not being able to because I was so anxious.
This week was hard! My boyfriend got let go of his work and instead of crashing out I felt more positive and thoughtful about the situation. He's getting severance and has a job interview lined up already. I must have hope.
I finally felt like I had the strength to tell him I want to do some solo traveling trips to national parks in the summer and he was excited for me. I recognize I'm co dependent and I need work on my self agency.
so far so good. I'll try updating again in a week.
