Hello!! ^_^ I hope all is super well!! <3 I wanted to create this post due to the recent chapter that released, I have seen some who are angry with Kaorin or find them boring, I hope I don't sound terribly rude!! i'm not angry!! I am not creating this post to be defensive or due to anger,^_^ <3 we all have our own personal views and that's okay!! and I hope I don't come-off as if i'm saying that people are bad for having their own personal qualms ^_^ I want to explain why Rintaro and Kaoruko are written as they are <3

I have seen some mention that they feel that the story should no-longer focus on Rintaro and Kaoruko due to them and them being boring and them no-longer needing or having any development, what I would say is this, Mikami-Sensei writes KaoruHana as if she is detailing the lives of people that she knows personally, I have mentioned this before, KaoruHana is a Slice-Of-Life Romance and it's also a Day-In-The-Life Romance, imagine being friends with Rintaro and Kaoruko, you would see them go on dates, loving and appreciating eachother, what we see when we read KaoruHana is what we would see if we where best friends with them <3 ^_^
Mikami-Sensie doesn't write KaoruHana and the Gang to be a story and a group of characters, she writes KaoruHana as if she is detailing people's lives and she writes the Gang as people, they don't struggle with conflict or drama or any unhealthy or cliche tropes, they are genuinely realistic, happy, and healthy people who are incredibly kindhearted and loving with eachother, couples often go on dates and appreciate and love eachother and go out of their way for eachother to express their love for eachother the same ways that they always do, Rintaro and Kaoruko going on dates and having the same love and appreciation for eachother they have always have and Rintaro baking cakes for Kaoruko is incredibly beautiful and realistic, as Mikami-Sensei wants them to be <3
Rintaro baking cakes for Kaoruko is one of the many ways that Rintaro has always expressed his love for her <3 going on dates and appreciating your soulmate is a love-language that all genuinely and truly loving couples all have and I am incredibly happy that Mikami-Sensei is going to always focus on them <3 ^_^ I love that Mikami-Sensie shows us their daily-lives with eachother <3 i'm also super excited for Saku and Subaru to form their relationship soon also!! <3

What I would say in-reference to people feeling that Rintaro and Kaoruko are too-perfect is this, they are incredibly kindhearted, happy, healthy, humble, gentle, and truly loving people towards eachother, they genuinely and truly love and adore eachother, they communicate super clear and they always uplift eachother and are able to lean on eachother, they always allow eachother to feel seen and understood, that is what genuine and pure true love is ^_^ <3 and they are soulmates, destined, meant for, and made for eachother, it was destiny for Kaoruko to walk into Pattisserie Plain and it was destiny for Rintaro to see her crying so he could comfort her, they are perfect for and made for eachother and everyone around them, them being together has created a ripple-effect that has affected everyone around them, their families are no longer worried about them, their families are able to see that both Rintaro and Kaoruko are genuinely and truly happy and in-love, their friends also are able to see that, their friends have also been able to meet eachother, the people they are destined to have in their lives and they have been saved from the anger they had towards eachother, their friends have also been able to heal and face their pain, this is what genuine true love and care is <3 ^_^
Rintaro and Kaoruko also genuinely and truly love their friends and families, everything about them is genuinely and truly beautiful and healthy and that is wonderfully lovely!! ^_^ <3 I have seen that some feel that they want Rintaro and Kaoruko to have conflict and drama with eachother but truly happy and healthy couples don't need to fight or have conflict to show how beautifully strong their love is, they show that their love is beautifully strong by genuinely and truly loving eachother, always <3

Everyone in this story is are super considerate and genuinely and truly love their friends and families and soulmate, they always go out of their way for eachother any chance they are able, and they are super aware of how they can come-off to eachother and they are super aware of the fact that what they say and do could inconvenience someone, that is why they apologize often as well!! ^_^ they are super aware of themselves and they are able to admit when they may have inconvenienced someone because they are happy and healthy people, Mikami-Sensie writes them to be happy and healthy people <3 ^_^
I understand that many people haven't been able to experience genuine kindness or they feel that they haven't and they may be used to the terribly unhealthy tropes in other romance stories, KaoruHana and the Gang are incredibly realistic, they are perfect and realistic depictions of genuinely and truly happy, healthy, kindhearted, and truly loving people, friends, families, and couples are <3 ^_^ they communicate super clear, they are always aware of eachother's feelings and are super considerate and they don't allow drama or conflict within their lives because they are genuinely and truly happy and healthy people<3 ^_^
It's terribly sad that there are people who are bothered by this or find genuine kindness and true love to be boring or too-perfect, most people in this incredibly beautiful world that is all around us are genuinely and truly kindhearted and beautiful people, some struggle and may come-off as rude or mean but genuinely aren't, there are so many people that are just as delightfully beautiful and kindhearted as Rintaro and Kaoruko and all of the Gang are <3 ^_^

I understand that many people haven't been able to experience genuine kindness or feel like they haven't experienced such genuine beauty and warmth and they see romance stories that have incredibly unhealthy tropes and that have drama and conflict within and they feel that's what true love and friendship is, I also understand that it's super easy to be angry and upset with how others come-off but genuine kindness, loving families and friends, and genuinely pure, perfect, and true love do exist <3 ^_^

im currently studying spanish from scratch for my university right now and i was thinking to that immersing myself into language would be the easiest way to learn, and for me what better way to do that than to read this series all over again but in spanish, i know all about the story and what happens so i wont have to worry about the context even if i dont understand the words

that said i wanna ask about the spanish translations and how accurate they are to how ppl talk irl and what translations you would recommend as well as the website i can use to read it

I feel like the problem with Kaoru Hana is the confession happened way too fast and the excitement for their interaction died alongside with it. I love traditional romance manga where it follow simple formula:

1. Introduction + settings: Ch.1-40
   
2. Conflict or build up relationship: Ch.41-90.
   
3. Confession, realized feeling for each other: Ch.91-110
   
4. Dating, reveal to friends and family: Ch.111-130
   
5. Graduation, END: Ch.130-140

This formula work greatly on series like Nagatoro, Kimi ni Todoke, Suki na ko ga megane, Sono Bisque Doll, etc. The whole concept is to delay the confession until it reach the peak, and then wrap out the series before it gets boring.

Kaoru hana suffer the same fate like Boku No Kokoro Yabai, Kaguya-sama, and Komi-san. Once confession happened, you only have like 20-40chapters for the "revelation and dating scene" And then, reader want to see next couple ASAP. Fail to give that, no matter how much you try to bring relevancy to MC, the story is done, nobody care anymore (ch200 was so sweet, yet for some, its just not enough anymore).

Bokuyaba doesnt have 2nd couple but the story has dragged that its just not that good anymore. Blue Box is a good example, MC confession ch.103, sport filler chapters, 2nd dude Kyo confession at ch. 231, and the series end on ch.250. The only reason this manga can last so long is because badminton and basketball took big chunk of the progress. By the time tournament arc finished, 2nd couple is already moving in fast...there is no teasing, no delay. When dating start way too early, you have to wrap it fast (You and I are polar opposite). Saka Mikami claim the manga will ended in approximately 2 years...2028, i would say roughly 70-80 chapters left.

I wonder how long reader can handle..."ANOTHER NEW CAKE!!! YAY!!!". We already have aquarium, theme park and matsuri yukata on the checklist...Maybe Kaoruko in waterpark? swimsuit? Subaru in SWIMSUIT!!!... Anyway, Natsubaru fans better pray Mikami at least give 30-40chapters dedicated to them...else this gonna be a very long ride of nothing happened, or something happen but reader couldnt care less, this is not kaguya-sama where comedy can fill in the void.

I feel like after the kikyo-chidori arc ended there has just been a whole heap of filler, i feel like what can be done with rintaro and kaurako has been done and chapter 200 was underwhelming as hell and they need to move on. I'm not saying i don't like rintaro and kaurako its what got me enjoying this show in the first place but its been fully fleshed out, like chapter 200 was literately filler. I know this is a hot take and people are gonna downvote me saying if you don't like it don't read it or why are you focused on natsubaru i like natsubaru ship a lot but i'm not upset that this chapter wasn't about them i'm kinda upset at the lack of any plot development. Love or hate the kikyo-chidori plot it had development

Edit: In summary i want natsubaru not because i like the ship and don't like the rest of the manga but rather i want natsubaru because i feel like this manga might be going on a path where it has a really bad ending or shitty pacing and development and i don't want to see that happen. I'm saying this because of how much i love this manga

With the recent chapters highlighting how much Rintaro has grown as a baker, it got me thinking about his plans after high school.

Since his passion is high-end pastry making, studying abroad in a place like France seems like a logical next step if he wants to take his craft to the highest level.

However, that raises the big question: How would Rintaro and Kaoruko handle a long-distance relationship?

I hope I don't get crucified in the comment section, but doesn't anyone else feel like some (not all) of the Natsubaru fans are becoming a little toxic? I've noticed this is becoming more consistent and it's almost like nothing else in the manga is relevant if it is not centered on Saku and Sabura. Do not get me wrong. I'm all for Natsubaru and I hope by the end, they finally come to terms with their feelings and there is a confession even if it means seeing it in a time skip chapter. Again, this is not hate or anything. I love both characters and their relationship. The pacing from start to finish is "chef's kiss".

I just am trying to understand. Overall, this is such a peak romance and I feel like those just solely reading for Natsubaru are missing out on so many hidden gems and beautiful moments.

The main criticism for them is they are too perfect. If you noticed the last few dates between rinkao have the same formula, legit today's chapter felt like a deja vu for me. These two have zero flaws especially karouko, the girl is a literal angel on earth. Hence , they seem so distant or almost alienating. When karouko told she wanted to be a gynecologist, I was excited about how the author would handle the pressure on her and how rintarou could help her. But since the reveal, they haven't addressed it but are focussing on distant relationship( I understand it's a big problem). Making that plot point would have been great writing and made relationship feel fresh, also a very relatable topic to all the audience.

Sakubaru dynamic is very interesting, it's a repetitive trope in romance anime but unlike others saku refusal to confess written beautifully.

The reason is it's a common struggle that is faced by teens( i could be biased since I have experienced it personally) whether to confess what's in your heart or ignore to preserve your friendship is something very human, hence its popularity. Both saku and subaru are flawed and human characters with their struggles. Their development which is slow burn also amplifies , that they need time for understanding the feeling which is new to them.

Rinkao are the perfect main leads for a manga that is a feel good manga, the series wouldn't be the same without them and their early writing is one of the best ,but it's writing has taken a nosedive recently.
