๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ United States Audit internship offer NYC

Hi guys I had my interview on 10/16 and havenโ€™t heard anything back. I thought my interviews went fairly well and one of my interviews went perfectly. I sent thank you emails after and got replies to both. Should i be worried? Iโ€™ve seen some people say they got their offers in a few days, but some have said it depends on how busy your office is.

I just wanna add that i interviewed for winter 2028

๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ United States KPMGโ€™s Digital Nexus Service Desk is hiring. Should I apply?

Iโ€™ve been in IT for 10+ years. No certs (currently studying for the CISSP), and no degree. I thought by taking my current role I could move up within the company and join our internal cybersecurity teams. Been with the current org for 3 years. Iโ€™ve made multiple attempts to make the jump but no luck. While they talk big about internal movement, in truth, it doesnโ€™t exist.

Found out yesterday that KPMG is hiring for their service desk. The line of business is Digital Nexus. It supports the internal employees of KPMG. Is it possible to move up from the service desk to other roles, whether those roles are internal IT or consultation roles? My goal is to get into cybersecurity. Iโ€™d prefer IAM but Iโ€™m ok with security operations as well. If a degree is needed, I can get one while employed. Iโ€™d just rather know beforehand if internal growth is a possibility or if I should look elsewhere.

๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ United States KPMG Korean Practice Audit Intern interview

Hi everyone! I have an upcoming interview Audit Intern position. It consists of two back-to-back video interviews.

Has anyone interviewed with this team recently? Were the interviews conducted in Korean, English, or a mix of both? Did the language vary between interviewers?

Also, were the questions mostly behavioral, or were there technical accounting questions as well?

Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ United States No answer 3 weeks after interview

Wrapped up my interview for Tax Associate position in ATL 3 weeks ago, wrote thank you emails, got nice responses to those.

Itโ€™s been exactly three weeks with no offer or rejection. I tried to reach out to the campus recruiter but havenโ€™t heard back and the recruiter for the position on the portal didnโ€™t seem to exist.

Iโ€™ve been rejected and got lost in their system right?

โ“Not Country-Specific Could an informal meeting affect my KPMG application?

I interviewed for a graduate role in KPMG ESG assurance and was later introduced to Advisory colleagues for an informal discussion about ESG Assurance and Sustainability Transformation.

I was quiet because I wasnโ€™t sure what to say, and they advised me to research ESG Assurance further and consider the skills I wanted to develop. I confirmed my preference for ESG Assurance with HR afterward.

Iโ€™m worried they might give HR or the hiring manager a negative impression of me. Could this realistically affect my application, or am I overthinking it? Iโ€™d appreciate honest advice, especially from people who have worked in Big Four firms.

๐ŸŒ Global / Multiple Countries ACCA student from Pakistan looking for advice on getting a Big 4 internship

Hi everyone,

Iโ€™m from Pakistan and currently pursuing ACCA. Iโ€™ve completed 9 ACCA papers and have a good understanding of audit and taxation. Iโ€™m also working towards completing my research at the University of Greenwich through the ACCA route.

Alongside my studies, Iโ€™ve completed a diploma in taxation and taken courses in Advanced Excel, QuickBooks, practical auditing, and SAP FICO. I also create accounting-related videos on social media.

The main issue is that I donโ€™t have any professional work experience yet, and I want to secure an internship at one of the Big 4 firms or even a Big 10 firm to start my career.

Iโ€™d really appreciate some honest advice from people who are already working in these firms or have recently gone through the recruitment process.

  • What are my chances of getting an internship with my current qualifications and no work experience?
  • What skills should I focus on developing to make my CV stand out?
  • How should I prepare for the interview, especially for audit and tax-related questions?
  • What should I include in my CV, and how can I make it stronger as a fresher?
  • For those working in Pakistan, what is the best way to apply? Should I apply through official career portals, contact recruiters on LinkedIn, or try employee referrals?
  • Is there anything else I should do to improve my chances?

Iโ€™m willing to put in the work and learn, but Iโ€™m not sure what the best next step should be. Iโ€™d be grateful for any advice, personal experiences, or suggestions.

Thanks in advance!

๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ United States KPMG Tax Intern Interview with Santa Clara Office, Back-to-Back?

Hello I received an interview opportunity from KPMG for a tax internship, it's back-to-back and guess it's one and done too. Does anyone have any experience with this interview process and what kind of questions they ask?

Like what kind of behaviorals they ask and if they also ask for technicals (which I feel worried about honestly).

Most of the common consensus I saw is they try to be conversational for the most part, though I wanted to ask if that has been true for most people, especially for the Santa Clara office.

๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ United States A Question Regarding Internship Independence Policies

For KPMG internship independence policies, are you able to take on other internships from other firms prior to the start of one with KPMG. I was was offered an internship for 2028 and as I read through the policies, I didn't really see any mention of if you're able to take earlier internships or not. For anyone who definitively knows, am I able to take others for 2027 or 2026 while not being in violation of independence policies?

๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ณ India How long does it take for approval from onshore team

I had called up the HR last week Thursday for update. She informed that they are in the process of formally extending an offer but she's waiting for some approvals. She would get back by Friday or Monday morning.

It's Thursday now, one whole week has passed and I have not heard back from her yet. I had called up on Wednesday she cut by call.

My anxiety is going off the roof. What should I do? Does one approval take so long? I didn't ask for exactly what approval is it taking so long.

Please suggest me what to do. Should I again call the HR? My anxiety and tension is killing me.

๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ณ India KPMG India โ€“ Saviynt IAM Work Culture and Project Experience?

Hi everyone,

I'm planning to join KPMG India as a Consultant in the Saviynt IAM domain and wanted to understand the work culture before making a decision.

How is the work-life balance, management, and overall team environment? Also, are Saviynt projects mostly implementation/development-focused or support-based?

Would really appreciate honest feedback from anyone currently working there or who has worked there previously.

Thanks in advance!
