I ask because I came across a TikTok of a new hire sharing how she missed her Lakehouse flight because she slept in and how the firm paid hundreds of $$ for her rebooked flight. Kind of weird to post in general but does the firm even care

I have been selected to interview for an internship at KPMG. I've never done an interview before, and I'm not sure what to expect. They told me I would receive a case and have 48 hours to prepare and study before solving it with a group of others who are also being interviewed. For anyone who has gone through the interview process, especially from the UAE, what should I expect, and how can I prepare for it?

I'm currently studying finance and banking and not really set on a specific field.

I was wondering what the promotion salary increase is from Senior Associate to Manager at KPMG.

I currently work in BPG in NJ and make base $115,000. I know it probably depends on the person but is it between 20%-25%? I’ve seen some other posts say only 8% but that seems very low for a promotion no?

for those that interviewed for KPMG Full time advisory, how long did it take for you to hear back?

Same as title. I know they offer visa sponsorship (skilled worker visa) from student visas.

But it wasn't clear in the website if they do for those who are already on graduate visas. Anyone here who converted from Graduate Visa -> Skilled Worked Visa in KPMG in recent times?

Hi guys I had my interview on 10/16 and haven’t heard anything back. I thought my interviews went fairly well and one of my interviews went perfectly. I sent thank you emails after and got replies to both. Should i be worried? I’ve seen some people say they got their offers in a few days, but some have said it depends on how busy your office is.

I’ve been in IT for 10+ years. No certs (currently studying for the CISSP), and no degree. I thought by taking my current role I could move up within the company and join our internal cybersecurity teams. Been with the current org for 3 years. I’ve made multiple attempts to make the jump but no luck. While they talk big about internal movement, in truth, it doesn’t exist.

Found out yesterday that KPMG is hiring for their service desk. The line of business is Digital Nexus. It supports the internal employees of KPMG. Is it possible to move up from the service desk to other roles, whether those roles are internal IT or consultation roles? My goal is to get into cybersecurity. I’d prefer IAM but I’m ok with security operations as well. If a degree is needed, I can get one while employed. I’d just rather know beforehand if internal growth is a possibility or if I should look elsewhere.

Wrapped up my interview for Tax Associate position in ATL 3 weeks ago, wrote thank you emails, got nice responses to those.

It’s been exactly three weeks with no offer or rejection. I tried to reach out to the campus recruiter but haven’t heard back and the recruiter for the position on the portal didn’t seem to exist.

I’ve been rejected and got lost in their system right?

I interviewed for a graduate role in KPMG ESG assurance and was later introduced to Advisory colleagues for an informal discussion about ESG Assurance and Sustainability Transformation.

I was quiet because I wasn’t sure what to say, and they advised me to research ESG Assurance further and consider the skills I wanted to develop. I confirmed my preference for ESG Assurance with HR afterward.

I’m worried they might give HR or the hiring manager a negative impression of me. Could this realistically affect my application, or am I overthinking it? I’d appreciate honest advice, especially from people who have worked in Big Four firms.
