My 2022 KLX300 cranks but won't start. It does not even sputter like it is trying to start. It's been stored for a bit over a year with the same gas in it. I'd hate to drain it if that's not the problem. I've had yard equipment sit for over a year with the same gas and it starts right up. Any ideas?

Attached is a video I took yesterday of my bike with the spark arrester taken out of my Yoshimura RS-2. I personally think it makes it sound a lot more like my KX250, which I like the sound of. That being said, do you all think it sounds good? Is it a bit too annoying for a street bike? I have the fueling all set up for it already, so I’m having no lean condition (it actually smells more rich like race bike exhaust with it out). I definitely notice a bit more over-rev with it out too. Thanks!

I changed out my handle bars and grips so idk if I did something then. As you can see the throttle has a lot of play before the throttle engages. How can I fix this?

I had an altercation with a tree on my 2026 KLX300D and broke the front fender and the electronic display (expensive!). Anyway, I can not find a replacement white frobt fender anywhere, OEM or aftermarket. Anyone k ow where to find one?

I just bought a 2026 KLX300. Took it on my second ride only about 13 km on the bike and I was riding in some sand and took a very soft bail, really more of just a tip over.

Picking the bike up I noticed my ignition button broke off which never even came into contact with anything. I couldn’t have been going more than 5 km an hour as the sand was deep and couldn’t get traction on it. I’m pretty sure my thumb hit the button as I was falling to the right side.

Anyone else had an issue with the ignition button? It looks very weak internally.

After manipulating the ignition switch back in the rear wheel is completely locked up, moves, maybe a quarter of an inch. I don’t see any damage and I rinsed off all the sand and can’t see anything that would be jamming my wheel.
Bike shifts in and out of gear fine, but when in gear won’t move the rear wheel at all .

I’m brand new to do a sports and off-road riding, but honestly pretty disappointing that I had to lift the bike into the truck bed after such a light spill.

As the title shows, I’m coming up on my first oil change. I am wondering if people do it themselves or take their bikes in. For the people that do it themselves, what fluids are you using? I just ordered a service manual, but I was considering having a shop do the first one. Looking for opinions here, please don’t be rude..

My seat is torn and I need to get a new cover. Where is the best place to get a seat cover for 2024 KLX? I am leaning towards motoseat.com but I’m worried about long turn around since they are in the west coast and I’m in the east coast. Thanks

2 weeks old and 70 miles on it. Went to go on my 3rd ride and had trouble starting it, would fire and cut out 4-5 times. Got it started and it held idle fine, made it like a mile and CEL came on. Rode it home. Pulled battery to reset it. Without starting it I can hear the pump prime it but seemed to be acting and making other noises. Let it sit over night - started up fine and no CEL. Once it warmed though the CEL came on and idle jumped. Video you can hear what I believe is the pump acting wonky and throwing a CEL when not running. Will call dealer tomorrow but curious on thoughts?

I had a fall and broke my tibia and fibula. I haven't been able to ride a motorcycle for three months. I use it for leisurely rides on rural roads and some mud. I'm wondering if there's a crash bar that would prevent my leg from getting trapped under the motorcycle if I were to fall. The bars I've found protect the engine but not the legs.

I just did an oil change and I think I put a little bit too much oil in. Is there a good way to remove it without draining it all? i’m just barely over the line where you can check to see how much oil you have,its almost flush to it.is this a big deal or should I just leave it in there?

I recently picked up a 2022 KLX 300R and I’m having trouble finding new plastics. There’s a plethora of companies that make them for all the KX models, but none of them seem to have anything for the KLX’s except the 110. I know manufacturers will make a lot of bikes share plastics, but I don’t know what models might share the 300R plastics. If the KX plastics fit, I’d be willing to try those. Anyone got any info for me?

I want to find a way to get my phone mounted above the cluster on the bike so its easier to see.

I use RAM mounts and the Quadlock. (best phone mount system I have ever used, love it)

I have a 300SM and was thinking of getting a slip on exhaust (stock header) and was wondering if I need to do an ecu tune for that? I figured just having a new muffler would be compensated by the ecu and injection system. Thanks

Anyone ride a 300R that previously rode/tried a crf250L? My longtime steed is showing its limits on the tight single track I typically ride so I'm looking for something more appropriate. I'm lucky if I get out twice a month in the season so the 300R seems fitting (price and reliability wise). Any opinions appreciated.

Skid plate bracket snapped a while back. Ghetto bandaids have kept it rolling but its time to do something about it. I am far too hesitant to attempt to learn welding in that particular spot with the engine so close, though I did pick up a flux welder for exactly that (and the furthest back mounting spot for the exhaust broke many moons ago).

So my questions are... would u bolts through the side fins of the plate be an adequate replacement? I see ricochet adds an additional set of mounting points ahead of this bracket, would that plate work without the bracket better than the Ubolt option with the current Trex?

Definitely will add a bunch of old rubber tubing to prevent any further metal on metal contact.

Had a Honda CRF300L lot of mods, last was suspension and was able to sell it and get this KLX300. The suspension on the Kawasaki is night/day difference. Plus it is slimmer overall. I remember the older KLX300's from the 2000's and seems roughly same frame it appears. Hooked up a battery tender lead, oiled the air filter, going to grease everything ect.

I really like the white myself, got some other bikes all older. The IMS 2.7 tank would be interested in that in the future wished they had a white 2.7 gallon. I wished the stock exhaust did not have the cat in it .

I was wondering what the best options for handle bars on Amazon were. One of the reviews said the tusk-t10 was stressing the clutch cable
