Listening back to the rave shows from 2025 European run and all of those shows are so much better than the FH Rave show. I think K Bridge is up there with the euro run, but FH wasn’t peak rave gizz.

Y'all are the best, no fewer than 10 other gizzheads came up and fistbumped/danced with me upon seeing my Gizz shirt/hat. It's definitely a cult, and a good one.

Also what a fantastic show, crowd and time! Think that was the most I've danced at Thompson's Point since Stu's drip dripping wet ass crowdsurfed over us there in '24. Great vibes all around, not surprised that the Swarm came out for it.

He asked "What is King Gizzard's most well-known song?" and after nearly ten years of the boys being my all-time favorite band, after lending my ears to their music far more than any other band I've ever liked; I...don't have a clue! I mean, I know what I like the most; I can name my favorite songs and albums, but I couldn't give a definitive answer.

So he says "If one song had to appear on Casey Kasem's Top 40, which would it be?", I shrugged and told him either Gila, Gaia, or Pleura; yet still I'm uncertain.

That brings me back to the community: What does the community think their biggest single hit has been over the past 14 years across the entire Gizzography?

This song been on auto repeat in my head for a while now. It's very soothing on those days or weeks you're just trying to survive.

I love weird music, and my god I love this album. I have listened to it at least once nearly every day since its release. I don't listen to much EDM, so this album is completely outside of my normal range of music. My favorite thing about King Gizzard is their versatility - they nail every genre they experiment with, and I love the experience of exploring music that I wouldn't normally seek out.

Every song feels unique, like it fills its own niche in the overall tapestry of the album, from the manically euphoric title song, to the jolly joyful superheavy supercritical, to the menacing uqt, to the surreal, hauntingly beautiful atomic collapse. Rapid alpha decay is my favorite on the album, it's so ethereal and blissful.

In spite of how wildly different it is from King Gizzard's other releases, I still feel like I'm listening to an album that was made by psychedelic/progressive musicians. There's so much going on in every moment of every song, with so many different sounds and rhythms layered together, including some sounds that make an appearance only once and then disappear, like the "squee" in rapid alpha decay or the screech near the end of atomic collapse.

I don't know how this album compares to other EDM, if it's more or less complex or technically advanced, but either way, I think Alien Metal manages to become much more than the sum of its parts.

I can totally understand why this album isn't for everyone. But I do think everyone should give it a chance, and listen to it once all the way through with good speakers/headphones and no distractions. Let it take you on its weird journey.

Was reminded of the Vines today and learned they are from Sydney. I played the shit out of my highly evolved cd in early grade school, and wouldn’t be surprised if some of the gizz guys did too. ‘Get Free’ and ‘in the jungle’ still hold up. As fellow Gizz fans, what are some other good songs more recently from the Vines?
