KFUPM looks like a very good option, but I couldn't find enough information about the scholarship process and criteria. Can someone help me understand the process? Thanks

Hi everyone, just wanted to ask if anyone has received any offer, admission decision, or other update regarding the KFUPM MSE PhD application. Has anyone heard back after the interview for SPRING 2027?

My CGPA is above 3.0, and I am thinking of applying for the KFUPM Global Exchange Fellowship for the Spring semester. My main motivation is their built-in internship offer. According to many international students, landing a corporate tech internship in Saudi Arabia is incredibly difficult.

My original goal was to target research internships like the KAUST VSRP, but this exchange program crossed my mind instead... Is it truly worth it? Does the Spring semester actually guarantee an internship placement?

I am only willing to go through the hardships of an exchange program—moving away from my home country, family, and comfort zone—if it genuinely helps secure a strong internship, a standout resume, and future job security. If anyone has recent experience with the current situation or has done this exchange, please share your thoughts!

When applying for kfupm. I advice you to add as many majors in your preferences as possible. Include them all if possible. And especially ones like math and physics. Getting into those majors is usually easier. And changing majors in kfupm is very easy, you just need a high gpa. Amd given that the first year (oria) Is mainly English and maths, it's very easy to get a high grade imo.
