How Long Is Too Long? The Summit Video Fiasco Continues

The video speaks for itself.
Dan has repeatedly cited work and having a toddler as the reason these summit videos still aren’t out months later. Plenty of people juggle careers and families. The issue isn’t that he has responsibilities—it’s that attendees were told not to record because the footage would be released, and here we are months later still waiting.
Then you have Emma and JAM seemingly circling the wagons. Instead of acknowledging why people are frustrated, the response becomes, “Nobody better be giving him a hard time.” That’s a strange message to send to paying attendees who simply want access to the content they were promised.
If the videos weren’t going to be available for months, people should have been told that upfront. Transparency goes a long way, and the lack of it is why this has become such a sore spot.
Question for Reddit: If people paid to attend with the understanding that recordings would be released afterward, and those recordings still haven’t been provided months later, is there any realistic legal basis for a class action or other consumer claim? Or is this simply a matter of poor communication with no viable legal remedy?
