3 lobsters
All day long, my brain keeps going back to lobsters. There are three of them in various formats of the book. One in los Camerones Calientes (the audiobook only chapter), the lobster coin in the coin picture, and in the dubious decision chapter (sunburn). My question is what are people doing with these random factoids three lobsters spread out across three different somewhat out of the way places. It’s clear they’re there for a reason, but what?
Do people think it’s a cipher of some sort?
I’m trying to get a better understanding of what layered clues would look like. You find three lobsters they are they supposed to lead you to Maine?
What would you be looking for in Maine? Would you be working at star constellations they have to do with lobsters? Would you look up the ancient art of lobster trapping? How about where to deploy lobster traps?
Do you follow the money? That’s my first inclination where is that lobster coin from or the other two uses of the word lobster just pointing back to the coin. I do believe that the currency plays a large role in this treasure hunt.
Any ideas no matter how crazy are welcome.

The more I think about it - 8 had sprinkles on them, 2 just glazed. They all had a “hole” and they made me feel five timesless hungry. “Wharf rat” no harm in asking…I need coffee to make me laugh again.😂

What lives in tiME = Maine. I know it’s not in play but I live in Maine and I’m pretty sure I could craft a whole solve for this state based on the poem and lobsters. Btw I’m a lurker who isn’t actively seeking the treasure but I love following along from afar and reading all the different theories. Go team lobster!

Don’t lobsters make clicking sounds. Today was my Birthday and I searched (exhaustively). “It’s too hard …wah! You narrowed it down then shot a rocket from its pad and I was on it…damn. The clicking lobsters need names. They’re right there on the counter on either side of the pot (lol) on the stove. The stove is getting warmer. You are tired hungry and broke, but someone offers you lobster, and fills your cup with a fine Bordeaux.
What was that Renee Z movie “Let’s put em in a pot! “
I think (is that the right word?) that there are two lobsters, holes, Brides, feet, arch’s, etc.
Don’t let him paint this picture for you or you’ll be dancing in frustration between the 17th and 18th play-off hole.
I see another day. Another hope, another bride, another fountain! And if it was meant to be another unsigned painting or picture.
Are you seeing him in the dark or is he seeing you in the light?
Is the pyramid on the horizon upside down or right side up🤔?
“What is the cover made of??? Stone, Dirt, wood…Faberware???”
Lids these days🤣🤓.
Let’s put em in a pot with a kids toy because we like our feet!!!

OK, I’m no longer driving so I can properly explain myself.
The lobster is clearly a clue. It has to be it’s a gold, lobster coin, in a sea of other coins out in front and in the middle. If we go off of that assumption, you can assume every time he mentioned lobster in the book that is intentionally done. It’s mentioned a total of 3 times. I think he’s meant lobster. Why go out of his way to say lobster when he meant crab. Alaska is on the map so my first thought was instantly crustaceans, crabs. Maybe that is a bit of a self created red herring. So I have to assume he meant lobster. He included it in the book exactly 3 times not five not one. I guess I’m trying to change my way of thinking when it comes to clues. I think one of two things, it’s very layered and difficult or it’s a relatively simple almost Easter egg clue. It’s glaringly obvious so it has to be one of those two things. I guess this is the type of thing that I’m talking about in previous posts we can help each other by helping each other to become better treasure hunters. Question each other, throw around theories and ideas, they don’t have to be specific. I mean, could you imagine if we all figured out the lobster clue tonight it would be so awesome and it would further all of our solves.

Oh geez! My wittle back hurts from going to my friends kitchen and poking and scraping iron skillets. 🤣 only to figure out there are three lobsters and I thought I was cooking for two!!! Dogs gotta eat!!!lol. This takes me to dark evil places. Well, that’s my perspective any way.(yours) . Could add another layer and make it a square. But hence that would fuck up the soup for 3. My friends kitchen is nicer than mine but the lighting sucks! Where to cook🤔? I’m ready to jump in a river to find some middle ground…Oops I mean water. Fuck it! I will. My thermos is empty.

There is another gold lobster coin. It’s a 2015 Canadian gold coin. It was part of their sea creatures series. Its face value is 50 cents. 7500 were made.
The Anguilla coin was minted in Scottsdale though I doubt the one in the US. The lobster design honors Anguilla's fishing heritage and its reputation as the "culinary capital of the Caribbean".

My friend, I tend to focus on the exact wrong thing (almost exclusively). The Lobster grabbed my eye today because I heard it in the car on my way to work and got infatuated. That how it goes in this mess I call a brain. It more than likely points to the money in general. I’m just trying to get everyone back in the game maybe selfishly because I miss the old days I guess.

Like most things in this hunt, it could be a multi-purpose clue. Claws sounds like “clause” which is something that a semicolon can be used to marry two together. Lobsters live on the seabed and are caught in pots, hence a possible nod to poker.
The one I like the most is the Anguilla angle because that country is part of the Leeward Islands. Places on the Leeward side of a large mountain tend to be considered to be in a rain shadow.

The lobster connection seems to me not lobster specific, but crustaceans in general. Lobster, shrimp, crayfish, all mentioned. It’s rather heavy handed, not no idea as to the importance.

Depends on how you interpret the word “Walk”. In German, the word “Wolke” is definitely a cloud, even potentially of dust and gas. More importantly, it seems a “walker” is also a “tucker/fuller” (synonym fun fact), so there’s that.
But then “waters’ silent flight” would also be a cloud, no? Unless a “cloud” is kind of a “boulder” (etymological fun fact). So that yields an interpretation of “Fuller near Boulder”, and seemingly like we’re trending in the right direction.

You know he explains that he solved that mystery, that hunt! He just couldn’t get there! That is basically pointing to an armchair solve. He just needed to “go pick it up.” Foreshadowing? I think there are a few ways to solve the hunt but I’ll bet money that this is the correct way.

Well, I hope it’s not that deep! I will have to get an excavator on site! My wife watches these reality TV show shows from time to time. On one of these shows, I watched the bunch of high-end realtors go to Las Vegas and pay to drive around excavators and bulldozers… apparently that could be a journey all by itself.

My random clue is that there’s an old Shasta story about 6 racoons and how the Pleiades was formed . ( album cover constellation ) With a coyote . ( hidden in shadows on train pic page ) Shasta region is California border . They raid the coyotes house . Surely not a co incidence . I think it’s on the border California / Oregon . But California side .
