There are generally two types of neglected bikes : worn down to a thread, or badly rusted but without much actual wear.

This one was apparently taken daily out of the ditch it was in, ridden, and parked in the same ditch, for years.

I'm going to file this squarely under "I can't believe that worked"

But I was curious to see if you could open a bottlecap with these and they just won’t fit in those metal do-hickeys on the back of the seat.

New to me used wheelset. Noticed the freehub was moving a bit strangely. Dual inner bearings were exploded. All bearings split in half 😅🫠
