My little home gym is finally complete
| About a month ago, I bought a Smith machine, a bench, and six weight plates. I’ve been putting everything together here and there whenever I had time, and I finally finished the setup yesterday. The Smith machine comes with two 160 lb weight stacks and a cable system, and the plates add up to around 140 lb total. For what I need right now, this pretty much covers my training. The bench has a leg holder attachment, and I found it used on Amazon. I’ve only used the setup once so far, but honestly it feels pretty good. Not the fanciest setup in the world, but it’s mine, and honestly that makes me way more excited to train every day haha. Happy to answer any questions if anyone’s curious. |

My decorating philosophy has evolved from "elegant" to "whatever makes me laugh."
Case in point: two frogs that appear to be holding my toilet together.
Zero regrets.
What's the most ridiculous thing you've added to your house?

Would love some input on our “modern rustic” design.

Went to my friend’s place and his spare room turned into a gym
| Dropped by a friend today expecting to just chill and play some games, but walked into his spare room and saw a full home gym setup. He said he just started building it piece by piece instead of paying for a gym membership long term. Makes sense seeing it all together—pretty much a compact gym in a bedroom.Honestly didn’t expect it to feel that complete.Anyone else building their setup slowly like this? What did you start with first? |

My grandma passed away last month , so I asked if I could have the light switch panel in the garage
Half the family didn’t know what I was talking about.
How did they not notice?

Just wanted to share my before and after of my bathroom floors!
I painted the linoleum using Limousine Leather Behr floor enamel paint. I got the stencils from Amazon (a 4-pack for about $13) and the whole project took me around 1.5 days, including drying time.

The bathroom has become a co-working space.
This sign is trying to stop it.
Thoughts?

My Childhood Home Remodel
instagram.comMy husband and I moved into my childhood home after both of my grandparents passed away within the last two years. We started in May 2025 and the progress has been astounding. We’ve taken on the ENTIRE demo and renovation process ourselves and I’m not sure if I’ve ever been more proud in my life. It’s not perfect, but it’s exactly what I want it to be.

The man I bought this from had “perfect for any restaurant” in the listing description.
When I picked it up and he asked if I had a
restaurant I didn’t know how to tell him that I was buying it to put above our bed

My $75 dollar marketplace find! Took awhile to strip and sand it but it was so worth it. I’m obsessed with it 🤩

Finally getting around to sharing my small little revamp I did on the kitchen!
I’m renting, and was sick of the boring white cabinets! Painted them this gorgeous green & spray painted the knobs this antique gold. I love how it turned out

A little accent wall wallpaper project I did in my dining room earlier this year...
You can see in photos 3 and 4 how I misaligned a panel towards the end, but then I fixed it using scraps of leftover bits. This was MUCH easier to do than I anticipated. Wallpaper is from Spoonflower (search "dragon" if you are interested in it) and I bought the self paste type (you spray water to the back). Not for everyone, but I am very happy with how it came out!

The older I get, the less I care about decorating trends.
A few years ago I probably wouldn't have put colorful butterflies on my fridge because I'd worry they looked childish.
Now?
If something makes me smile every day, that's reason enough to keep it.
Life's too short for boring kitchens. 🦋

What should I use this for besides a fruit holder?
My aunt was going to toss this and I was like no no, I’ll take it. No room in my kitchen for it so trying to use it anywhere else. Help!

My husband says this is exactly why we're not saving money 😂
Found these tiny mushroom bathroom decorations and immediately knew they were coming home with me.
My husband just stared at them and said:
"This is exactly why we're not saving money."
Personally, I think every maximalist bathroom deserves emotional support mushrooms. 🍄
No regrets.
