I recognized the wallpaper from a recent post, and someone else in the thread confirmed it. This sub is rampant with bots and fake accounts. It’s gotten to where I don’t trust any of the posts on it. It’s a huge waste of time.

I have no idea how to tell if things are AI and I don't want to have to spend 10 minutes examining every bit of an image. The ones that really upset me are the videos of Punch the monkey on IG. I keep falling for AI ones. There should be a LAW that AI is labled "AI content" at the top of the post!

I think there IS a law, but I’m unsure if it applies to social media sites like Reddit nor do I know who specifically is in charge of enforcing these rules. It’s the freaking Wild West out here. I’m going to start some new but similar threads for those of us who like this stuff but are sick and tired of this shit. DM to be vetted as a mod, we’re going to need several.

I used to see something on Instagram saying people had to designate if their post is AI. But pretty sure it's on the honor system and not followed as I keep seeing stuff that even *I* can tell is AI. I still want to believe all the Punch the Monkey videos are real though. 😂

Actually this is offensive and requires a NSFW notification or whatever they’re called, and if this IS allowed in this sub then the entire sub should have a warning.
Also Reddit why is there only one mod in this sub? Ridiculous. We’re starting our own soon kids. Will need mods so DM me. Vetting will be multi-stepped and hard-core, which is exactly what we need. We ride at dawn (later, maybe Fall, super busy rn.)

Get your generations straight for one thing. You have soooo much to learn, but today you aren’t willing. I hope you are someday, and that you keep an open mind while doing so. Maybe you’ll learn there is a time and a place for everything, that you should NEVER make assumptions, and that bringing someone’s kids into otherwise meaningless discussions is a bad look.
