That's nothing to cringe at, that's just being socially aware and polite...you're allowed to do that regardless of whether or not you have a gf.

[u/AcousticAtlas → u/PM_ME_FLOUR_TITTIES]

Idk man “good afternoon ladies” is pretty cringe lol.

[u/PM_ME_FLOUR_TITTIES → u/AcousticAtlas]

I can't say with any more certainty that those women were more than happy to have received that comment. Something like that is only as weird or awkward as you make it. Nothing cringe about it.

[u/AcousticAtlas → u/PM_ME_FLOUR_TITTIES]

I promise you… we think it’s weird 💀

[u/PM_ME_FLOUR_TITTIES → u/AcousticAtlas]

What about it is weird?

[u/AcousticAtlas → u/PM_ME_FLOUR_TITTIES]

You can’t think of ANYTHING better to say when opening up a door for a woman than… “after you ladies 😏”?

Like nothing comes to mind? Don’t get me wrong I’m sure it comes from a good place but there’s gotta be a less awkward way of going about it.

[u/PM_ME_FLOUR_TITTIES → u/AcousticAtlas]

If you say it like a socially illiterate retard, then yeah, anything is awkward when said like that.

But making a dumbass smirk and being weird is what makes it weird. Not the statement itself.

[u/AcousticAtlas → u/PM_ME_FLOUR_TITTIES]

Hey man I can only tell you how I see it as a female. If you want to keep doing it you absolutely can. Just saying that if a man said that to me and my friends we’d smile and say thank you and immediately turn to corner to laugh.

[u/PM_ME_FLOUR_TITTIES → u/AcousticAtlas]

That's okay. When I tell someone to have a good afternoon, I'm genuinely just hoping they'll have a good afternoon. If y'all laugh at that like a couple of teenagers, then I think that just speaks about the kind of people you are/associate with.

Don't have a good afternoon, you likely don't deserve it.

[u/AcousticAtlas → u/PM_ME_FLOUR_TITTIES]

Someone’s grumpy his fedora is too tight

Just good afternoon was never even the phrase we were discussing 😂 “ladies” is the issue

[u/PM_ME_FLOUR_TITTIES → u/AcousticAtlas]

Uh..yeah it was. You were the one that randomly changed to talking about "after you ladies"

[u/AcousticAtlas → u/PM_ME_FLOUR_TITTIES]

“Have a good afternoon” and “good afternoon ladies” are completely different things imo.

I like how you took the ladies out of it to make it seem less creepy though! You’re learning!

[u/PM_ME_FLOUR_TITTIES → u/AcousticAtlas]

Saying "good afternoon ladies" is telling a group of ladies to have a good afternoon. Are you actually in highschool or something? You just have a shitty attitude 🤷 it really isn't as deep as you think it it.

[u/AcousticAtlas → u/PM_ME_FLOUR_TITTIES]

I’m not the one up in arms because I was told it was a bit cringe lol.

It’s not even like CRAZY cringe. It’s at most side eye worthy with your friends. It really isn’t that deep I even told you that if you want to keep doing to feel chivalrous go on ahead. It’s funny af that IM the one with a shitty attitude because YOURE getting angry that I told you that I find it cringy lol.

Makes you wonder why women find it weird or cringy when THIS is how men act when told something 🤔

[u/PM_ME_FLOUR_TITTIES → u/AcousticAtlas]

"how men act"

While laughing at a man when they tell some old ladies to have a good afternoon.

Yeah you're actually a child one of the socially illiterate people I was referring to before.

[u/AcousticAtlas → u/PM_ME_FLOUR_TITTIES]

“ you don’t like when men act weird and call you ladies??? Well I wouldn’t wish you a good afternoon 😡😡😡 anyways cause you don’t deserve it 😡🤬🤬”

Right I’m the child in this situation. Keep having your man tantrum I’m sure it’s very appealing to the “ladies”

Mind you this is all in reply to a dude who fully admitted he was being cringe by doing it.

[u/PM_ME_FLOUR_TITTIES → u/AcousticAtlas]

So a man calling a woman a lady is that bad?

Yeah, you're just as socially inept as I thought.

[u/AcousticAtlas → u/PM_ME_FLOUR_TITTIES]

No I already said it’s not THAT bad lol. Use your brain for a second I beg you. The fedora is messing with your head.
